For the 2013-2014 session, AIRE is again in the Quartier des Ailes_Vichy but moved to Jules Ferry College.
The first workshop for the new collective creation, begins with students from November to February.

This big cypress is being held up by only a couple of pieces of its base. Our guide said he thought it would have fallen down years ago.

From this vantage point soldiers could view ships through telescopes, and plot their distance, speed, and direction in order to aim nearby coastal defense guns that protected the area from invading warships in the 1900s."

The base of a wonderful old concrete birdbath in the Bainbridge GA home that belonged to my great grandfather Powell.
I attended the Giants-Indians spring training game and took this photo of a runner attempting to steal second base. I like how I captured the runner in mid-head-first dive with the ball just entering the second baseman's glove. I had to do some major enhancement and changes because I was using a cheap 2x extender which takes away sharpness from the image. After trying to sharpen the image, I gave up and made it really smooth, giving that dreamy effect to the shot. I also vignetted the image to put more emphasis on the players and less on the umpire.

Stacked barrels adorn the interior of the otherwise empty Great Barn of Basingstoke.
The 'Great Barn' of Basing House was built in 1636, for Sir William Paulet, Marquis of Winchester, and is the largest surviving Tudor barn in England. More than 300,000 bricks were used, and the walls were buttressed to support the weight of the crops contained therein.
As at 18 May 2022 I have lived by the River Thames for over 20 years and barely know it, although I've walked a good part of it, many times.
When I first arrived and began venturing along the river - east and west and on both banks - the first landmark I became really aware of was Shornemead Lighthouse, which is a few miles east of Gravesend, where I live. Apart from being functional it was also quite quaint and was removed in 2003, probably not to annoy me.

The lighthouse itself was removed and taken to the Port Of London Authority depot at Denton, where it remains. It was recently repainted.
Its base, along with a great deal more of what I suppose makes the river interesting, is still where it was, as are the metal supports for the walkway that gave access to the lighthouse; this photo.
The Thames is a brilliant place.

Some old men at Xemeneis Parc in Paral•lel, Barcelona.
I particularly like this pic. I enjoyed doing it and i enjoy looking at it.
Barcelona is a city of everyone and for everyone. I mean, depending of the zone and hour of the day you can see in streets and public spaces different kind of people. Different people from different nations but in this pic i want to show this was the moment for old people.

We started walking at 8am from Ecocamp, a few minutes after the sunrise, as a clear blue sky and a nice view on the tours made us feel confident for the day. Aline (Brazil), Siobhan & David (UK), Keith and Collen (US) and Susan (US), accompanied by Elda and Marjorie who work at the kitchen of Ecocamp and Timothy, our Guest Engagement Manager, followed the steps of Diego and Sarah, our experimented Guest Adventure Guides.
