Okay I know, pictures of cats, evil. But I just couldn't resist. Kathie and Eleanor's cat Gerlad crawled into my high tech PS2 transport device and I just couldn't resist this photo.
It's going to be a bag. The body of the bag is adapted from a pattern by Patons and the trim is the same as the trim on Attic24's bag attic24.typepad.com/weblog/crochet-bag.html

Slowly making progress on the hemp shopping bag.
This pattern has been teaching me quite a few things, since I haven't ever done a lace-y project before.
Hemp is pretty nice to knit with, I might try to make something else with it eventually.
A rather big bag (50 cm wide and 30 cm deep) and My husbands said when I finished it: that I cheated and bought this... I was soooooo close of keeping it to myself (but I have no other fruitty fabric to make an other)

le Bimbe di Cix Bag Basic Collection
fit Barbie, Momoko, Blythe, FR, Misaki, Fashion Dolls Agency
Note: left edge is a fold for a double-thickness bag!
Lower left: body of bag in three sections, with shorter or longer front flap being the rightmost.
Lower right: Pockets - oversized, almost as big as the body panels. You might want smaller.
Upper edge is reserved for strap, but is way more than needed - could get up to 4 straps out of that if necessary.

The Daisy Pop Small Tote is such a happy little tote! Anna Maria Horner's Chocolate Lollipop fabric accented with Metro Living Lantern in Grass. Perfect for toting your lunch, knitting, baby stuff or as an elegant gift bag. It would even make a fabulous hand bag! Measures 9" high x 11" wide, with an 18" strap. Fully lined, no raw edges, REVERSIBLE! Interfaced to make this a very sturdy tote!

This is a pattern by Erin Erickson of Dog Under my Desk fame called Make Me Up Before You Go Go. I thought it might make a good sock knitting bag with a zippered interior pocket so I wouldn't need a separate accessory bag. I made my interior pocket using clear vinyl so I could see what was in it at a glance. This alteration meant I needed to adjust a few things. I was happy with how this turned out but it was a bit fiddly. The designer is very up front that this will be the case since applying the binding neatly is tricky. I ended up hand sewing my binding down to improve its appearance. Next time I have a few ideas to try to make it work out neater for me.

This has been kicking around my room for ages. Actually, it's see through on the front, and the white is on the back. It looks pretty cool though.

This is the Laundry bag I bought at IKEA which I am quite fond of. It works great and can hold four loads. It is free standing when empty and makes it easy to haul my stuff to the laundry facilities. And only 14 Euro!
