My 1st crochet bag! :)
I did the handle my own way - doubled it in continuous spiral double crochet with front post dc's on either edge. Makes it padded and less floppy as was written in pattern.

I made this "rag quilt-style" bag using scraps of denim from old blue jeans and an old 100% cotton shirt. No batting.

A beautiful tote bag to use to take your things when you go out!
It is so adorable and classy!
It's made out of a lovely Ice-cream print fabric, the straps are made out of white silky fabric and It has a ribbon bow in the center. (The ice cream pin is purchased separately)
The bag measures 30x42 cm (75x105 inches aprox.)

Handmade library bag using fun owl print fabric. Wool book appliqué and hand embroidered letters spelling out, “Hoo, Hoo, Who likes to READ?” Cotton exterior and lining, with heavy canvas used as interfacing to give the bag strength. Reinforced cotton handles. Two patch pockets inside – one for your small items, and another specifically sized for your library card (it even says library card in hand embroidered letters). Approximately 14x14 inches (not including handle). Now all it needs is a library card and some books!

Started this bag shibori dyed then over dyed stamped with bleach. OK at this point not likeing the bag. Hung it up and looked at it. Maybe I should burn it.Went for a walk. There on the ground was a ginko leaf(well lots of ginko leaves)I love ginko trees. Bingo! Hurried home ginko leaf in hand. Mixed yellow fabric paint with discharge paste.Used the leaf to stamp the design. Much better :-) Oh how I love the golden yellow ginko leaves in the fall.They seem to glow.

Crossbody bag from Taschenspieler, Farbenmix.
My mods: Add a zip pocket to the back ("secret pocket") and a reverse applique in the front.
Materials: One black men pants, a skirt with floral print, a dress shirt with patch pocket for part of the lining, new fabric for part of the lining.
DE: Crossbody-Variante. Innenfutter wieder teil aus Herrenhemd (Brusttasche), Außenteil aus schwarzer Denim-Hose und blauem Rock, mit Reverse Applique und eingefasstem RV.
Außerdem am Rücken "verstecktes" Fach durch zusätzliche RV-Tasche.
