I made a bag for ME! Chose the fabrics I liked most, stacked them in kind-of-matching colours - started ironing....
and this came out.
A bit bigger than A4 - I guess, this is what some call a magazine tote?!
Used both remnants and some of the hoarded american prints. The cats are so cool.... I got them off Ebay a wile ago and have only just dared cutting them up.
I wanted to find some way to use these fabrics together, so I improvised this tiny tote bag. It has small pockets on the bottom, long handles, and a button closure.
Lonebluelady and myself spent the weekend making small coin purses for ourselves and family members. This is the same bag as hers, but I put a handle and accent stripe across the bag. They are so much fun to make! I can't wait to make more!

I recently attended Ganseyfest held in Inverness and was lucky enough to take part in several workshops. The gansey motif session led by Elizabeth Lovick of Flotta, was very inspirational. The bag was my end result. 5ply pure wool, lined witth lilac Harris Tweed.
Dá pra se usar dos dois lados e o melhor de tudo q a alça é regulavel e vc poderá usa-la pendurada no ombro ou tipo "carteiro" - acompanha chaveiro e bolsinha com ziper porta niquel.
This "happy flowers" purse was made by my friend "Spongetta" from fabric left behind by the little-old-lady seamstress, Beatrice Billings, who lived in this house for decades before I bought it. When I moved in, I inherited Beatrice's pink gardening gloves, clothespin bag and this bolt of fabric. Last month, my bat-removal guy (another story altogether) found her hand-made vintage ironing board in the attic.
A gym bag I made for Jenny to trade for hand-knitted fingerless gloves! I made it out of old tshirts (one from the first concert we ever went to together), and I screen printed it myself.
Pattern: Miniature Knitting Bag Ornaments
Needles: Size 7 US
Yarn: Bag is made from Cascade 220 superwash; mini hanks are various weights of sock and lace weight yarn.
I made this for a mini ornament swap we did at our Knit Knight holiday party. I ended up with Shanda's beautiful sweater, and she ended up with this bag.
Row 1 & 2; K1, P1
Row 3 & 4: P1, K1
repeat until long enough
I made mini-hanks of yarn by wrapping laceweight and sockweight yarn around a book and then carefully twisting it. I used toothpicks for the knitting needles with beads glued to the top.
This was quick, easy and tons of fun. I should make one for myself.
This cute little bag was originally thought for little girls. But by using my own one for a while I found out how handy this bag is for grown women, too!
Little pirate girlies can now store their loot in style or take it with them on shopping sprees.
But this little bag is also invaluable for mama! It holds your wallet and keys while shopping. Now you have both hands free for your little pirate – but no more bulky jeans pockets!
Polka dots on pink, a skull appliqué and an embroidered heart-garland – what else can the alternative heart wish for (if you can think of anything, tell me – I’ll make it happen!)
you want this bag? Well go and get it!

The first Sydney Sojourner Bag was originally a custom designed as a sojourner bag to accommodate the international traveler. Rugged and handsome this bag has its own unique style of elegance. Made of oiled brown leather, with untouched characteristics of full grain hide, it epitomizes the look of a seasoned traveler. The red lining representing good fortune and happiness, features compartments for documents and personal items: a glasses pocket, a business card pouch, a boarding pass pocket, a passport compartment, a cell phone pocket and a notepad and pencil compartment to journal all of ones travels at the office or in Singapore! All bags are numbered in order of manufacturing and made by hand in the USA.
Bag made using a pattern from Blue Calla. I used a brown canvas fabric and a caramel canvas print as accent. For sale on my shop: www.NormasBagBoutique.etsy.com
