Felt I needed to edited some of my photos from over this summer and I really like how this turned out. It was taken in Andover at my cousin's backyard.
"Views into the backyard" are very scarce these days, where houses and their surroundings are more and more used as decoration objects
Some of my tulips. These were originally purchased at the flower market in Amsterdam on my honeymoon and they still look very good.

A possum on our backyard fence in Los Angeles. Our dogs were going bananas over it, so I locked them in the house and came back with the camera. I took a few pictures ... and then I stretched out and grabbed the tip of its tail, just for fun. It didn't do anything, it just sat there, but it obviously didn't think it was fun.
We got the oriole feeder out a few days ago. There were several that came to eat and I got quite a few shots thru the window. I'd never seen one of this color before - usually the more common Northern - aka Baltimore - Oriole
Bird watching can be so rewarding.
This is a movie combining two Flip Mino videos of the backyard. First it's just the yard, and you can hear a few birds. Then it switches to Mischief staring out the door at something, and panning up to see the flock of turkeys in the yard. I love how the mino adjusts the lighting automatically, and you can also see where I use the zoom to get in closer.
