This photo has had ZERO editing done to it in Photoshop or any other program. I didn't even edit the contrast, exposure, or color balance. I just figured out that if you hold the camera steady, set the exposure at about 1/15 of a second, and TWIRL it around really quickly, then you get a pretty cool effect.
My favorite photograph .This photograph consists 6 shots of my backyard around the time the sun was going down . I love how this turned out . At first there were some cracks in the photoshop , but when i flattened the image , the cracks went away . I played with the exposure , levels and gamma correction and ended up with this . (:
backyard next to the garage. my Japanese maple peeking out there in back. The lawn barespots were caused by my dog using it as a run.... I think I planted the tree too close to the garage. oops.
Spotted this sweet bunny quietly nibbling near the bushes in our backyard. A gentle reminder that nature finds us, even at home.
More in the aftermath of the jackhammer. The concrete work in the backyard had several different sections. There was the original 1950's patio, the pink 1960's patio, the pathways, the add-ons to the pathways, and the various planters that have since been buried. There was a fishpond on the left (the plant was in an "island" in the middle of it). I remember when my dad put it in.
This sunflower decided to grow in my backyard... The last time I was mowing the grass back there I noticed it, but no flower.. and I couldn't bring myself to mow it down...
After I was gone for the weekend I came back to find a HUGE flower! :)
Shot of large backyard (though covered with a fair amount of leaves.) Note the covered patio area surrounded by lattice to limit the elements. Handy location for grill and wood for the fireplace. Also, check out the convenient door to the garage from the backyard, though there is a large gate in the fence as well.
Trailer in back corner is not staying, but it would be a great place for a shed if you'd like to add one.
Pics of a neighborhood juvie Cooper's Hawk that terrorizes the neighbor (and the backyard) birds. Almost everyday, even though I don't see him (or her), I hear the local alarms going off (Blue Jays).
At 10pm it is still swelterning and the doors have to be left open to get a breeze flowing through the house. The garden is just about coping wiht the 45 C heat.
