Mike Bison playing a set on the stage. Their instruments consisted of a tiny drumset that looked almost like a toy drumset, and an Atari 2600 with SynthCart. They even had the TV doing the "light show" mode. It was mesmerising. And quite strange.
They also plugged in their equipment and played a lot from the Roundhouse/Fire Shrine area.
There was ONE sample that they repeatedly played, and that we heard a good 50 times throughout our time at X-Day. It consisted of a voice saying: "Tonight I'm gonna get so fucking drunk, and smoke so much dope and cigarettes... It's gonna be awesome." Now I want that sample for my own!
And thanks to the Mike BisonMySpace page, I finally found out "Rev. Madlib's" real name is Nick Perry. :P He kept giving a different answer everytime anyone talked to him. He even claimed to be from Alaska at one point.
BACKSTORY: After 20 years of interest in the Church Of The SubGenius, I finally got to go to X-Day! Praise "Bob"! A SubGenius MUST have SLACK -- and I was finally getting it when needed the most.

Fishing Derby is an Atari 2600 video game created by Activision programmer David Crane based on the sport of fishing.
In Fishing Derby, two fishermen sit on opposite docks over a lake filled with fish (and a shark that passes through). Using the joystick the player is able to move his line left right and up and down in the water. When a fish is hooked, the line slowly comes up to the surface of the water. Pressing the fire button on the joystick reels in the fish faster. However, if both fishermen have fish hooked, only one person can reel theirs in (the one who hooked theirs first). The shark that roams the water will try to eat hooked fish before they surface.
The objective for both fishermen is to reach 99 pounds of fish first. There are six rows of fish; the top two rows have 2 lb. fish, the middle two rows have 4 lb. fish, and the two bottom rows have 6 lb. fish. The more valuable fish sit at the bottom, but they are harder to bring in as they run a higher risk of being eaten by the shark.
The game's two variants are simply single player and multi-player. In both games the objective is to reach 99 lb. of fish first.

The city of Ukiah has absolutely no idea what old video games are worth. I got the Atari 2600, official carrying case and a ton of different controllers (not pictured) for, I think, $20. The games, in their boxes, were a buck each.
You never know what you might stumble upon when you are clearing out your backroom! Found a handful of Atari 2600 game Manual completely pristine thanks to be pressed in an old schoolbook.

Although sealed, the box is pretty banged up. Unfortunately, the 1200DPI scan was unsuccessful and reverted to the digital camera

Megamania is an Atari 2600 game designed by Steve Cartwright and published by Activision in 1982. It took about six months to develop the concept, and another three months to fine tune the game.[1] It was later released for the Atari 5200 and Atari 8-bit family in 1983, ported by Glyn Anderson. The Atari 2600 version was also bundled in with the Activision Anthology release in 2002.

I never had an Atari 2600 while growing up, but I played Atari quite a bit when I was a kid, especially games like Frogger, Superman, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, E.T., and Galaga.
It was the system I grew up on until the video game crash of '83...and then came the Nintendo Entertainment System 2 years later in 1985. The gaming world would forever be changed.
