My level of expertise in photo editing was nonexistent. I have never worked with photoshop before this course. I used Photoshop CC to edit this photo. The three main tools/edits I used were levels, brightness/contrast, and vibrance. I used levels to lighten up the photo, then the brightness to brighten the image, and vibrance to bring out the colors. I like the changes made to the photo, the brightness makes the flower pop more. I'm not a huge fan of how bright and fave the green in the background looks.
I nearly didn't make it this week; I've had family staying for the past 5 days, the house is packed up ready for the movers to arrive next week and we're "camping" in the house with the bare minimums. I rescued this pretty etched glass bowl (which belonged to my grandmother) from the garage sale we had on Saturday.

In this picture, my dog was looking off into the distance. He was probably thinking about food or taking a nap later. His eyes show inspiration because he is looking towards the future.
So for these shoot, i had to take for both last week and this week assignment. And for my project i decided to follow up with a continuation of a another shoot i had done a few years ago and that is shooting construction sites. I choose construction site because to me this is an everyday thing, however to many others it brand new. The way i shot these images were done in different angles and seeing the inside of different building before any of the walls were added. I went around and saw three different sites and worked there getting my images. Most of these are done in a abstract way because i want to show a different more artistic side to something most people take for granted. During my shoot the sun was going down so i had to play with the little light source i had to play with my ISO and Aperture as well. I was a bit of a challenge mainly because i wasnt able to take my camera inside these areas, so i had to wait until work shift was over and come in the night to get my images. I took over 119 photos but chose these 23 because these were my best for both week, plus i had a few over 13 images from some other days i had taken images but i felt these here were my stronger ones.
