I am a novice level editor. I used Pixlr online editor. First, I cropped the photo so it is more focused on the eyes and more off center so it's not so locked up. I then duplicated another layer on top of the original, unsaturated it, and used the eraser tool to color splash the eyes. The subject's eyes are a gorgeous green blue color so I wanted to bring that out as much as possible. I adjusted the red, blue, and green hues as well as the exposure to achieve the vibrance of color I wanted. To intensify the darks and shadows against the lighter areas I applied a slight vignette and used an inverted pastel filter. These edits bring much more of an instant focus on the eyes which was the overall goal of this edit. It gives a more intense look and adds some suspense to the determined look in her eyes.

So for these shoot, i had to take for both last week and this week assignment. And for my project i decided to follow up with a continuation of a another shoot i had done a few years ago and that is shooting construction sites. I choose construction site because to me this is an everyday thing, however to many others it brand new. The way i shot these images were done in different angles and seeing the inside of different building before any of the walls were added. I went around and saw three different sites and worked there getting my images. Most of these are done in a abstract way because i want to show a different more artistic side to something most people take for granted. During my shoot the sun was going down so i had to play with the little light source i had to play with my ISO and Aperture as well. I was a bit of a challenge mainly because i wasnt able to take my camera inside these areas, so i had to wait until work shift was over and come in the night to get my images. I took over 119 photos but chose these 23 because these were my best for both week, plus i had a few over 13 images from some other days i had taken images but i felt these here were my stronger ones.
