Here we are in week four of the new quarter and I have yet to post anything from Photography. Bad Alex, indeed.
I fooled the Photography I teacher into giving me an A, and so I was shuffled along into Photo II. Focus: darkroom techniques. First technique learned: creating negative prints in the darkroom.
The process is fairly simple: create a regular print, place it on top of a piece of blank photopaper, and expose to light.
I picked some shots from the previous quarter for this assignment.

Assignment 52 - motion blur
I don't consider this quite a fulfillment of the assignment, since both subject & background are in blur, likely due to lack of tripod when we were down in Georgia. But this photo is "so Po," I want to include it.

Taken for Active Assignment Weekly group. This week’s Assignment: Vegetable Kingdom
WIT: I had a lot of fun with this one! I tried all “veggies” in colour and b/w – and funnily, for some the colour version worked better, for others b/w was nicer. The background is just a white towel on my dinner table.
This thing is inedible, for decoration only. When I spotted it on the farmers market I knew it would make some interesting photos, so I bought one. I expected this one to be a great b/w subject, but I had a bit a problem with the focus and finding a good angle. I like this one because it seems so alien, or maybe something from under a strong microscope…
I added a bit contrast, but not much.

I have been a fan of baseball since I was very young and recently completed an internship in Minor League Baseball. It will continue to be a major part of my life.

I've never seen such an assignment in Japan. It is really interesting that
steps are written. American people focus on words that are written so there
are lot of information.
