Milwaukee County Zoo, with 11 incredible indoor and outdoor event spaces, the Milwaukee County Zoo is a unique venue to host both casual and formal occasions. Events can be held in animal exhibits, at outdoor picnic areas, or in one of the Zoo’s dedicated indoor gathering places.
A wonderful Maddux appetizer tray with four compartments and a handle. This is 15" across the long way. This is symetrical with all four bowls being the same size - the perspective of the picture does the distortion.
The detail of the edge is as intricate as any we have seen for this purpose - sort of a fish-scale design.
This appears to have never been used (certainly not abused).

We went on a night tour of Tokyo with dinner for our first evening. Here are our appetizers. I would add notes but mostly we had no idea what anything was. It was all either tasty or intriguing though.

Shrimps, white wine, oil, garlic and some spices. Some minutes in the oven. Served with bread and lemon.

Simmered Muscat grapes in white wine with pickled carrots and fresh daikon, soy marinated akanishi-kai shellfish, carrot and daikon

Brandy marinated chicken and raisin terrine, steamed sea bream rolled in egg sheet, simmered prawn, lotus root stuffed with mustard miso paste and broiled edamame

Conger pike and jellyfish with cucumber and salmon roe

Shabu-shabu style beef with spicy sesame dressing
My appetizer from David's, a great crabcake with a fried plantain. Unfortunately, I broke off one end before I decided to take the photo. 'Twas an awesome crabcake and I *know* crabcakes.

Pumpkin soup flavored with mild curry spices is absolutely robust during winter. The sweetness of the pumpkin, subtle warmth of the spices and the flair from the yogurt gives an exotic taste.
