the elections wrap up today in Sudan & the initial reports are very good. it seems that the voting process was a peaceful one... now, we need to pray that the results are received peacefully & the referendum also goes peacefully.

Gov. Patrick happened to have said, "And I'll tell you why--" right when the host's home phone rang. Without missing a beat, he added, "And I'll tell whoever's calling," and answered their phone, "Hello, this is Governor Patrick," and then asked if they were Obama supporters. Priceless!
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick came to a home in Merrimack, NH to speak to a crowd of a couple dozen about his support for Senator Barack Obama in his 2008 bid for President.

Belief is the state of mind in which a person thinks something to be the case, with or without there being empirical evidence to prove that something is the case with factual certainty. Another way of defining belief sees it as a mental representation of an attitude positively oriented towards the likelihood of something being true.In the context of Ancient Greek thought, two related concepts were identified with regards to the concept of belief: pistis and doxa. Simplified, we may say that pistis refers to "trust" and "confidence", while doxa refers to "opinion" and "acceptance"

I have had a lazy day and decided to take some snaps of some flowers (I hate to call these weeds!) from the garden - and yes sorry it's more flowers - when I move I promise I will try to do more varied stuff!
