I finally measured the vase and found it was getting too tall for my kiln. I unfortunately had to cut some of the neck off (tears, dripping, falling, pooling). I recovered enough to throw a nice open bottomed cup to place on top of the neck.

The pants were originally blue jeans. I dyed them with Procion dye and I used some squeeze on fabric paint for the doodles, which were inspired by Alisa Burke's online class, graffiti chic 2. I used the Mobile Monet app to alter the photo.

My alter ego stepped into this shot at the last moment, ruining what would have been a decent reflection photo. Photographed at the waterfront in Astoria, Oregon.

Meet Wicked Y Rubee - both names given to the shoes by the lovely and talented photographer, Alison Downey! These are by far my very favorite mail art project I have participated in. The group I did this project with is called Art Garage. It was a challenging and rewarding project and in the end I sent them out with love to two of my favorite friends!
