Der Nidarosdom in Trondheim (alter Name der Stadt: Nidaros) gehört zu den bedeutendsten Kirchen in Norwegen, er gilt als Nationalheiligtum. Er war seit 1152 die Kathedrale der norwegischen Metropoliten. Weil hier der Schrein von Olaf dem Heiligen hinter dem Hochaltar stand, trug der Dom auch den Beinamen „Herz Norwegens“. Nach der Reformation wurde er zur Kathedrale der evangelisch-lutherischen Bischöfe von Trondheim. Im Mittelalter und von 1818 bis 1906 war der Nidarosdom die Krönungsstätte der norwegischen Könige. Hier wurden sieben Könige gekrönt und zehn begraben.

It was the cathedral of the Norwegian metropolitans since 1152. Because the shrine of Olaf the Saint was located here behind the high altar, the cathedral was also nicknamed the "Heart of Norway". After the Reformation it became the cathedral of the Lutheran bishops of Trondheim. In the Middle Ages and from 1818 to 1906, Nidaros Cathedral was the coronation site of Norwegian kings. Seven kings were crowned and ten were buried here

Rules and details:
1) I (Noshinima Midas) tag 50 names of great photographers on Second Life. Said photographers that choose to participate in the challenge can come over to my parcel, Noshinima's Neighborhood (link below) and do an image anywhere in my city. You will be allowed two hours to use any posestands or props that you would like to add and are allowed to bring any friends you want to join you in your shoot. You are also allowed to make the shoot as safe or as adult as you like. The only rule is that you do the shoot within the city block. Take your time to have a look around to see where in the block would make a great place for your image.
2) Upload the finished image onto Flickr and place the hashtag #NoshsHoodChallenge3 on either the title or the description.
3) YOU MUST TAG 10 PEOPLE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE TAKE THIS CHALLENGE ON YOUR UPLOAD OF YOUR SHOOT! NO MORE, NO LESS! I have had several people during previous challenges that have not followed this simple rule so I am making it ALLCAPS to get the point across. Link them to this post and explain the rules to them as well. They must also tag 10 of their friends that they would like to see do this challenge if they themselves choose to participate as well. You must tag people that are actual active photographers on Second Life. Tagging pages dedicated to advertising a store, tagging real life photographers and tagging empty profiles does not count and is against the rules. Also, although you are permitted to do this if you desire, tagging me and tagging yourself will not count towards the number of 10 photographers you are tagging.

Seit 2018 beherbergt das Alte Fährterminal Hamburg Altona nach aufwendigem Umbau das Hamburger Privattheater Opernloft. Ausserdem beherbergt das Gebäude das Restaurant "Rive Fish & Faible"
Since 2018, after extensive renovations, the old ferry terminal Hamburg Altona has housed the Hamburg private theater Opernloft. The building also houses the "Rive Fish & Faible" restaurant.

The triple digits broke a month early and I am not complaining, sure there will be more in August but the break is what matters, so why not build a fire on a morning that feels like fall. Plus Flickr Friday needs some fire so inside the Chimenea burns a fire. Fire can be destructive and change the chemistry of a solid object or it can be romantic and cozy.
Seit dem kleinen Fahrplanwechsel im Juni 2022 hat die Schienenverkehrsgesellschaft (SVG) neue Leistungen in Baden Württemberg begonnen, bzw. übernommen. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Sonderzugleistung für beispielsweise die Beförderung von Fussballfans, den Freizeitexpress Bodensee und den hier zu sehenden Freizeitexpress Südbahn. Dieser wurde an seinem Ersten Einsatzwochenende mit 218 105 der Neckar-Schwarzwald-Alb Eisenbahngesellschaft (NeSA) bespannt, hier auf der Heimreise von Singen nach Stuttgart bei Kuchen im Filstal. Mittlerweile nähert sich die FEX-Saison dem Ende, ab dem 16.Oktober ist Schluss für dieses Jahr.
Dieses Jahr gibt es leider nicht so viele Möglichkeiten Milchstraße zu fotografieren, denn richtig klare Nächte, vor allem am Wochenende, sind rar. Als sich gestern ein – zumindest kurzes – klares Zeitfenster angekündigt hat, war klar, dass ich es versuchen wollte. Unter der Woche will man natürlich nicht so weit von zuhause weg, also habe ich mich für dieses Motiv im Nachbarort entschieden (vermutlich hätte ich es vor einem Monat besuchen sollen, denn dann wäre neben dem Baum vermutlich ein schönes Getreidefeld gewachsen).
Zu dem Baum ist es ein kleiner Spaziergang und auf halbem Weg haben mir zwei funkelnde Augen aufgelauert. Zuerst bin ich von einem Marder ausgegangen, aber als die Augen plötzlich freudig auf mich zugehoppelt kamen, war klar, dass es sich um eine Katze handelt, die sichtlich glücklich über die nächtliche Abwechslung war. Danach hat sie mich auf dem Spaziergang begleitet und von ihren nächtlichen Abenteuern erzählt.
Am Spot angekommen, habe ich ein paar Einstellungen ausprobiert. Dort ist auch eine kleine Kapelle, die ich ebenfalls fotografiert habe. Die junge Dame ist dabei stets in der Nähe gewesen und hat um mich herum gespielt.
Für diese Aufnahme hat sie sich als Model zur Verfügung gestellt und sich ein wenig auf die Bank gesetzt. Danach hat sie mich wieder brav Richtung Auto begleitet und ist dann dort, wo ich ihr das erste Mal begegnet bin zurück geblieben um weiter nach einem nächtlichen Mahl zu jagen.
