Therapy today. Spoke a little about my fears and how they impede my life in a lot of ways. My fear of mice come to a point that I don't want to go out with Benthe or nearby bushes 'cause I'm afraid she'll catch a mouse or frog. I know, ask me how big the change is for that to happen in % and I will say, not so big..But that's the thing about fears....they are not based on procents. I'm also afraid of being in cars or busses. Planes. And I don't feel comfortable when people can see me, so I stay inside, all day, every day, if possible. So we're gonna work on that. But another important thing, my therapist pointed out, is that I'm mature in a lot of things, buying a house etc. and I'm intelectual, but I'm still very young when it comes to how to handle with emotions. Emotions wash over me, so I get more upset then most people will in a certain situation. It's not that my feelings are not real, but sometimes I just can't perspective, then I only see the black and whites. When it comes to that I have a lot of learning to do, but she said that last year (with Emiel) I made huge progress allready. And I know that.

afraid that over here in UK many Counties have been flooded since last week...some areas flooded three times.....buildings & roads washed away

Car park car. I sort of know what it is as far as the make and model are concerned but what it really is...well what it really is to me anyway...is brilliant. The design I mean, the design and the implementation of that design. I like Mustangs but nowadays I'll tend to look a little further afield to get my American car juices flowing but....standing next to this "thing" made feel.....well it made me feel something.
He is a kind spirit.
He is deeply in love with P, and any other female creature in the neighborhood, including the yellow cat across the street (love is not answered by the cat) and a very kind and sweet soul.
But still.
He is, according to himself, he is mucho macho.

Dorm room at Preston School of Industry, also known as Preston Castle. Preston Castle is a former Reform School that is now a California Historic Landmark.
Not certain where the adults are at, but this is the second year in a row that I’ve spotted juvenile, Black-crowned Night Herons on the bayou and I have yet to see an adult in roughly 8 years. I presume that I’m looking in the wrong places. This youngster was extremely skittish and jumped from tree to tree and limb to limb trying to escape that clown in the canoe. At least I was able to capture it before it flew off. Photo taken on Arman Bayou.
I am going to add a bit of clarification to this post. Some will call me a bit crazy, and I guess it’s just me. They may be spot on correct as well. I still enjoy the challenge of taking photos and some of the new cameras, including the Sony A7RV that I am currently using are ladened with technology and have all sorts of assists built into them. Turn on the AI and Eye Recognition and the camera never misses the bird buried in the branches no matter how cluttered it might be. I used those features initially but must confess that they are all turned off in my camera. Autofocus is on and that’s about it. I miss a lot of shots, but I also don’t feel like I am using an automatic point shoot camera to take my photos. What you see is what you get, and I usually try to focus on the eye, but that is not always the case.
I also want to say that these are just my opinions and my way of doing things…OLD SCHOOL for this old timer.

While whale watching in Alaska we came across this pack of harbor seals. I was fortunate to capture this individual looking right at me. His expression looked as if he feared what might be lurking below h surface. We saw a pack of orcas earlier in the day...
In the frozen lands of Avalon there is a tale about a monster created in ancient times by the god of Chaos from scraps of a rare, incredibly durable metal. Every last night of the year the beast wakes up from the deep, cold sleep and roams around villages and cities of the kingdom. In order to mollify it, people leave a tribute consisting of valuable items in front of their houses. In the past, many warriors have attempted to defeat the monster and stop this practice, but with no result. However, there are still people who have doubts about the existence of the beast (blaming thieves for taking the valuables) and don’t lock themselves in their homes until the cursed night ends. The next day, these people are always found missing…
In my creation I incorporated some vanitas symbols - sword (fame), gold coins (wealth) and a young girl (beauty), all vulnerable to time (clock) and death (skull, monster).

Cassowaries are very large flightless birds native to the tropical forests of New Guinea and northeastern Australia. Fallen fruit and fruit on low branches is the mainstay of their diet but they also eat fungi, snails, insects, frogs, snakes and other small animals.
The 2004 edition of the Guinness World Records lists the cassowary as the world's most dangerous bird. Adult Southern Cassowaries are 1.5 to 1.8 m (5 to 6 feet) tall, although some females may reach 2 m (6 feet 8 inches), and weigh about 70 kilograms (154 pounds). Their three-toed feet have sharp claws with the dagger-like middle claw 120 mm (5 inches) long. This claw is particularly dangerous since the Cassowary can use it to kill an enemy, disembowelling it with a single kick.
Normally they are very shy but when disturbed can lash out dangerously with their powerful legs and are capable of inflicting fatal injuries to an adult human. Usually, attacks are the result of provocation. They are considered to be one of the most dangerous animals to keep in zoos, based on the frequency and severity of injuries incurred by zookeepers.
This specimen was 'shot' whilst out on safari yesterday with neilalderney123 at the snake farm and show on the Bangkok Yai khlongs (canals).
Blacktail deer are quite common in Olympic National Park, particularly on Hurricane Ridge. They are not truly tame, but they definitely afraid of humans getting close.
afraid I've had a nasty strain of Pneumonia recently......more like a fever......keep falling asleep can't breath so well & disorientating ....just the job for Christmas
yep I missed Christmas & my birthday & don't remeber actually doing this image.....that was about 12 days ago & the last thing I did until coming round a couple of days ago & now getting over it but just so tired....3 weeks of being in & out of reality & not the nicest way to spend the Hols...
I do remember wishing it was Spring & the bulbs were out in the garden & now just glad to be here.....a scary trip indeed
