Behaviour shot only (cropped a lot as I zoomed out expecting it to fly) - This is what a Great Blue Heron does when it wants to scare away another Great Blue Heron. Just like a cat, it will raise its plumage on its back and position its head this way... frankly if this guy or girl was walking towards me like this, I would fly away too.

I went for a walk on a friend's property. They have bears, wolves and deer on their property. Lucky for me I didn't encounter any on my walk.

Strobist:2 speedlights on shoot through umbrella . I got a nice isolation from using this. I did very little cleaning at the corners with PS.
Yesterday, my friend, Loui, was visible, but afraid. The zoo is building a habitat for red pandas very close to Loui's home. The noise from the construction makes him nervous. Here, he's peeking out from a pipe they've given him as a hiding place.

Was fishing along the shore with my 4yr old. This large White-tailed Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) was hovering above us for at least 30 min, and from time to time it felt like we could touch it. I had to tease the little man a bit by saying that maybe the eagle thinks you are a taste goat... (he didn't like that).
Not sure if this is an adult or young adult (certainly looks a bit more like a young adult), but this one was definitely not afraid. And yes, it looks certainly like the image I took in Hornøya a couple of months ago.
