Entrepreneurs John and Peggy Dunn are not afraid of the current economic slump. While many people tightened their belts and waited during the past several years, John saw opportunity and pursued his dream. John is a plumber. He has been running his own plumbing business for twenty-three years. Peggy is a singer, a published writer, and John's wife/sidekick. While John has a love for historical arms, Peggy loves meeting people and making new friends.

In 2010 they decided to take the plunge and open up a unique enterprise. Most gun stores are bastions of masculinity and are rather intimidating to women. With John and Peggy's combined efforts Old Town Guns and Gifts was born. In this unique shop one can find anything from 1894 Winchester rifles to crystal stemware. The coffee is always strong and hot, and the conversation is lively.

One of the recent additions in John's gun rack is a custom 1894 Winchester rifle. It sports curious factory customization to make it lighter in weight and as a result has a decreased magazine capacity. On the firearm's stock is nailed a mysterious plaque on which is engraved "Buffalo Bills Wild West."

The rifle was featured and appraised by Bonhams & Butterfields on the Antiques Roadshow in July 2011. John is currently researching the rifle to determine if it is indeed a firearm that might have been handled and shot by William Cody or Annie Oakley. If so, the value would escalate enormously.

John still works four days a week as a master plumber, but on Friday and Saturday, he and Peggy open the doors to the American dream with their own business. Thank you for the coffee and conversation John, there will be more photos coming this evening on my zenfolio site.

It's Christmas time, and there's no need to be afraid

At Christmas time, we let in light and banish shade

And in our world of plenty

We can spread a smile of joy

Throw your arms around the world

At Christmas time

But say a prayer and pray for the other ones

At Christmas time, it's hard but while you're having fun

There's a world outside your window

And it's a world of dread and fear

Where a kiss of love can kill you

And there's death in every tear

And the Christmas bells that ring there are the clanging chimes of doom

Well tonight we're reaching out and touching you

Bring peace and joy this Christmas to West Africa

A song of hope they'll have is being alive

Why is comfort deadly fear

Why is to touch to be scared

How can they know it's Christmas time at all

Here's to you

Raise a glass to everyone

Here's to them

And all their years to come

Can they know it's Christmas time at all

Feed the world, let them know it's Christmas time again

Feed the world, let them know it's Christmas time again

Heal the world, let them know it's Christmas time again

Feed the world, let them know it's Christmas time again

Heal the world, let them know it's Christmas time again

Heal the world, let them know it's Christmas time again

Feed the world, let them know it's Christmas time again

Heal the world, let them know it's Christmas time again

Heal the world

What is love❗️⁉️

I believe that love, in all its forms, is a powerful energy. As humans, we have the ability to transform it into something radiant. It is an understanding that we are all small particles of time and the universe. Love means caring about the well-being of others more than just focusing on our own interests. If someone is in need, ill, or hungry, it becomes our shared responsibility. It’s a problem we all face together! There's no “I” only “WE”.

If I had to choose my favorite photo of the year that would be this one. Not Italy, not Las Vegas or even Brooklyn Bridge. When I saw this vinyl it was an instant love at first sight. I ask myself often when I travel what if people live differently? What if they terminally ill? What if they don’t have enough strength to move or travel or even to drive 45 minutes to see another location? What if they are unhappy? What if they made irresponsible mistakes? What if their situation is not something that can be reversed? What if they are 95 or 99 years old? What if everything is behind. What if your dreams failed you? What if there’s no happy ending?

What inspires you? Music? Music that has a meaning?

When I look at this vinyl… It’s name, colors; yellow, black & red heart. The name “Band-Aid”… There’s no “happy ending” or “ending”… One just has to apply a band-aid over its own heart and continue making this world a better. Maybe that’s what keeps this planet still moving not just happiness & smiles but billions of small band-aids on the hearts of billions just like yours. Are

I'm afraid Jojo is not a happy bunny today as Flickr have reined me in saying that if I don't delete videos with sexual conent and images that don't belong to me within three days my account will be closed. It looks like I have been trolled again because I'm careful and not really all that guilty of either, all the images are just my little statements and collages and by adding that my account is made up almost entirely of stolen images is a joke as it is just that tiny-tiny few. I admit not everything is my own but you don't have to search very far on Flickr to find whole photo collections that almost blatently have been entirely borrowed from other people's pages or the web and so many just do it to most it's just normal. As for my videos being sexual, I like to think they are quite erotic and tasteful, but just because they are transgendered probably makes them offensive to some hence the complaint. So yes guys and girls it looks like Jojo has been trolled again, my third time. It has to be that as I don't deserve it as I'm a very good Flickerite and to prove it they didn't also threaten to change all my setting up to Moderate which would be a blow in itself as it disables them from many groups which is annoying for my bus side. But as they say after a rise comes a fall and I've enjoyed so many clicks thousands and it only takes one to make it all come crashing down. I'm annoyed but to to be truthful I am not too fed up as it will now make me do it differently and to be honest apart from making those collages which I love I won't miss those borrowed video clips which have made my page such a hit with surfers for they only distort the figures, anyway that's what I'm telling myself. Hopefully too it might force me to find somewhere else to put my more adult stuff, so if anyone has any good suggestions please let me know. But apart from that it will be business as usual as I will still be posting all my Jojo pictures as before and I think thankfully about half of my videos are safe enough to keep. It's a good job it's a horrible miserable wet day I've some painstaking deleting to do, it's just a pity Flickr can't appreciate a good highly popular blog written by a normal 'human-being' with a lot of hard work going into it. No instead of picking on me they should be sending me on a world cruise or offering me a nice executive job in California wirg a heart-shaped swimming pool lol.

LOL that face! I shouldn't laugh, because Boomer is seriously afraid of EVERYTHING, but there is nothing going on in the house at all but he's literally sitting there listening & waiting for any potential noise that might scare him.

Transdev are not afraid to use older buses on important trunk services, as illustrated by tis Volvo B7TL with Plaxton President body, photographed in Skipton Bus Station on the 'Pendle Wizz' service. This is the 1340 journey from Burnley via Colne and Barnoldswick, arriving in in Skipton with the destination display already set for the return journey at 1445. Bus 2706 was originally registered Y706 HRN but now carries older registration B7 BVD (presumably this choice has some significance, but I'm not sure what), The rather drab grey and black livery facilitates loans and transfers between the Transdev fleets and in this instance is used to promote the Transdev app. (Photo taken 8 Feb 2023, posted 14 Feb 2023)

I am.

I try to be brave but the buildings in New York can get a little tall.

A fight between a "street trader" and this man (the man covering his face with his hand) in the Qiaodong district

A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.

Back to school means back to Samantha! Her, my other new photography friend Candice, and I went out yesterday for a shoot. Theyre tearing down the old hospital next to school and while the pictures would be incredible, the fact that it's next to a bunch of school parking lots kind of put a dampener on any possibilities there. So we ran off to the good ole warehouse and got a couple cool shots. I feel bad though because the inside may be inhabited, a fact we found out as we were setting up for what promised to be a really cool picture for Sam. Ah well next time!

Hope everyones well =)

This image was taken at a beach just north of Christchurch New Zealand while I was there on a short visit. I got there early and just waited for the light to hit this large sand dune and I just loved this compositon which is so simple and yet evocative of a typical beach scene.

I never liked chocolate much when I was a teenager. In fact I didn't eat any chocolate between the ages of 11 and 18. But I really like this chocolate. Very much indeed!

Small child from Mishing tribe on Majuli Island was obviously afraid of the foreigner - not so many of them come here!
