A young grizzly bear standing to get a better view of a marmot that was dead on the road! She had tried to get it a few times but traffic was getting in her way and the rangers would try to scare her away because they were afraid of her safety! She finally did get the marmot and had a nice little snack! This photo was taken in Yellowstone National Park!

i apologize for the lack of good uploads lately, in a deep and dark creative ditch.
I'm afraid of heights, so being able to take this picture falls into the "I-can't-believe-I-did-this" category.

I think this year more than ever we're seeing the devastating effects of Climate Change. I know the west coast is burning up and over here in the east we are inundated with excessive amounts of moisture and flooding! it's truly frightening how extreme the weather is becoming. climate.nasa.gov/evidence/

I am not going to lie. (I wish I wasn't) but I am afraid.
This is a picture from a sad evening when I was actually very happily dancing. Around this time of the night, others are very brutally stopped from dancing somewhere else, minutes away.
I am looking at my own Bataclan tickets I had for tonight and I see people dancing. I hear them singing as well. They look happy.
I am crying, they keep dancing, I keep crying, they keep singing.
If I listen carefully they tell me not to be afraid.
But... I am (and the stage is empty)
Holding back onto something you want hurts. I'm afraid of everything about us. I'm afraid of you taking me for granted. I'm afraid of taking another shot for us. I'm afraid of holding into something that slowly fade away while I grip it tight. I'm afraid of the pain.
But the worst part is, I'm afraid of losing you. And I would sacrifice all of that as long as you'd be with me.
I was fascinated by the cut-out shot I did the other day cause it turned out nice. So I tried another and failed. XD It turned out lame. But luckily there's photoshop. :P

Our Daily Challenge ~ Patience
I found Daisy when she was 6 months old, in an outdoor cage with her 4 siblings, crowded, unsocialized, underfed and afraid of everything. That was six years ago and we are still working on 'things' that continue to lurk in her brain. The saving grace is that she is a most fantastic dog in so many ways. She is my watchful friend and walking buddy. Being very smart, she's easily learned a lot of tricks that she enjoys performing. This makes me appear to be a good trainer but really, she is a quick study. Then there's fetching Frisbees stylishly with athletic flair -probably her favorite thing on earth to do. For some reason, she adores cats and has welcomed our new kitten wholeheartedly. The two of them play ball with each other and run together throughout the house with glee. If the kitten starts to pester our old cat, Daisy will go in between them and gently push or herd the kitten away from him. On our walks, she stops and actually looks both ways before she will cross the street. If a car is coming down the road and she hears or sees it, she pulls over and stops to wait for it to pass. I've never had a Border Collie before so a lot of this blows my mind. She's a delight. However, there are some down sides that require a good deal of patience on our part. She is still afraid of a lot of things, from ceiling fans to men in hats. She has a nasty habit and taste for poop. When walking, she shies away from litter on the side of the road, much like a hot horse might do. We can never watch tv with animals on the screen. She's actually memorized some of the commercials that have animals on them. She is already racing for the tv well before the part where the animal will appear in the ad and she'll stand there waiting for it to happen - then the mayhem occurs. When we tell her no, she goes to the side of the tv to look behind it, or even out the window for the animal she saw on the tv. She's a bit high maintenance for sure but we adore her.
