I'm afraid I am in the latter category despite their cuteness. Nest predators of note and competitors of our native Red Squirrel (which beats it hands down in the cuteness stakes) these are an introduced species which DO NOT BELONG HERE. Sorry - rant over...
... be very, very afraid.
Halloween is four more sleeps away and this 'thing' is already roaming around Southport.

Jackson didn't seem annoyed by the camera at all. He didn't run away when I approached him with both my LX3 and a flash in a softbox. I'm afraid he's going to kill me later...

LOL that face! I shouldn't laugh, because Boomer is seriously afraid of EVERYTHING, but there is nothing going on in the house at all but he's literally sitting there listening & waiting for any potential noise that might scare him.
A look I put together for an angelic- themed event at a strip club.
I'll get the hang of *actual* blogging eventually
A few more Mandarin shots I'm afraid but this is their annual gathering to display and pair up and there was some good weather.

A fight between a "street trader" and this man (the man covering his face with his hand) in the Qiaodong district
Just had to change the title as it was getting views just because it was called nude. That's happened before...I forget about that aspect of Flickr.
I love this
I'm in my little hidding shade area in my backyard.
I'm having a OK day
I guess
Today one of my friends went through a earthquake
I was so scared for her
I hope she's ok now
THIS PHOTO GOT ME #9 FOR THIS DAY
YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Small child from Mishing tribe on Majuli Island was obviously afraid of the foreigner - not so many of them come here!
Come with me to my Secret Garden, and do not be afraid
For here you will be surprised, by sights and scenes being laid
Faeries dancing beneath the moon, whilst elves sit tapping their feet
To songs and Tunes of fantasy, in this magical place we meet
And Yes it may be a Fantasy, but to me it is surely real
For what is there inside our hearts, enables us to feel
With hands outstretched I grasp the dream, and make it all my own
Remembering of such happiness, from whence all seeds are sown
Pixie Dust flowing along the wind, with beauty for all to seize
Catching glitter and dragonwings, such symmentry upon the breeze
Forest creatures both big and small, share space and harmony
No need for fear in this special place, just peace and company
The brightest stars fill up the sky, spreading light from up above
A stage below for one and all, to dance and share the love
To be as one and just believe, that peace will rule our Land
To live together in Tranquility, as sure as shifting sand
Butterflies and glowbugs and creatures of the sky
Flying there amongst us all, the buzzing sound so high
flutes and harps and pipes of old, all musical sounds they make
So electrifying instruments are these, a breathless sound I take
Mystic and magic all woven together, like a silver, spiders thread
As sweet and moist as dewdrops, upon a green and grassy bed
Such perfection you will never see, in the world we call our own
Tis why it is called Fantasy, from enchanted tales tis sown
Goblinfolk and Faeries alike, Of Elves and Witches too
We are all equals in this place, so to each other please be true
Flower Garlands and webs of silver, spun through golden strands of hair
Jewels asparkle and clothes so bright , spinning amongst us everywhere
Such a mystical sight of beauty, so enchanting and serene
A more over-powering sight of unison, I have surely never seen
This is how it should always be, in the land that is for real
For if it truely was, then hearts would mend and heal
All night this merry make will last, till soon the sun will rise
Then all will take another's hand, to hide within a guise
This Secret Garden within my head, will be laid to rest once more
Till whence I need to call upon, the folk behind the secret Door
They will welcome me with open arms, and take me in their fold
To help me smile and give me hope, of another day to hold
So now you have seen my Garden, can you believe what you did see
A fairytale of folks and lore, A Secret Garden for you and Me. Hugss ALLY .

We Are Made One with What We Touch and See
We are resolved into the supreme air,
We are made one with what we touch and see,
With our heart's blood each crimson sun is fair,
With our young lives each spring impassioned tree
Flames into green, the wildest beasts that range
The moor our kinsmen are, all life is one, and all is change.
