I had a blast doing this interview. Even more honored to be asked to do it considering how well done Robert’s documentary “Afraid of Nothing”. His podcast series is a companion to the documentary. I’ll post a link to the doc below. Thanks again for having me Bob!

Please let me in ! There is a dog behind me 😅

This is a street cat very very afraid to people who is close to it.

I spend a whole of year to let it allow me to make close and touch it.

After half year of 8am morning from the date of this pic, I'm visit it as usually but see it lay down in front of hall's door.

Its eyes seemed to look into the distance, but do not have any reaction.

I realized that it was passed away.

RIP

Dressed in black, no turning back

We blanked out on the Great White Way

Fingers in desire's crack

We'd bridge and tunnel into day

Abandoned to the salt of skin

Abandoned to the highway

Sand running in the hourglass

Heat of leather and mirages

Nevada's burnin'

Phoenix rising

Drivin' on

Into sunrise

Dayglo Jesus on the dash

Scorch marks on the road ahead

Friendly fire in hostile waters

Keep the faith, don't lose your head

Don't lose your head

So how do we now come to be

Afraid of Sunlight

So how do we now come to be

Afraid

Een duik op 78,55 noorderbreedte!

Who is afraid of ... the polar bear or the icy water ....

Ny - Alesund - 78,55 noorderbreedte

Ny-Ålesund is located on the north shore of Brøggerhalvøya, a peninsula of Oscar II Land on the island of Spitsbergen.

Just when it's getting good

I slowly start to freeze

Just when it's feeling real I put my heart to sleep

It's the memory I can see

Then this fear comes over me

deathly. of what lurks behind the shadows of what I cannot see.

Light painting is one thing I really enjoy, but seldom do I do it because I let this fear get to me

I know this is plain right cheating, but it's the only way I can continue... I will continue to cheat :D

and flickr sharpening is terrible..

And I just can't keep living this way

So starting today

I'm breaking out of this cage

I'm standing up, I'mma face my demons

I'm manning up, I'mma hold my ground

I've had enough, now I'm so fed up

Time to put my life back together right now

I'm afraid this might be broad-necked root borer that could damage oak trees in my yard. Can anyone confirm identification? Webster Groves, Missouri.

Parablennius zvonimiri. A small but wonderfull Blenny hiding in a hole, not really sure of what he is seeing...Mediterranean sea.

The only sight more pathetic than a discarded teddy bear on the side of a freeway is a 53-year-old grampa on the side of the freeway, taking the bear's picture. The bear is now safe and sound, in case you were wondering; he won't get to spend the year out on The Isle of Misfit Toys.

I made it out alive, as well.

I just noticed that he looks kinda like the Hobbits, right after they destroy that ring.

//Log # 154//

We ran through the dynamite blasted caverns. My team followed closely behind me as I kept on the Warlords tail. I could notice that we where going deeper into the caverns. Lefts and rights, to many for me to remember but the warlord seemed to know this way well. He would stop on occasion, to let a guard or convict pass by. But as we descended deeper into the mines, the guard activity became less and less noticeable.

We finally got so far down that he was forced to spark a torch to be able too see. It was getting hotter and we must have been a good 1200 meters underground. We came to a large room, lit with torches and homemade chandeliers. There was a large table in the middle. The walls flickered from the torches, I could only make out a few bunk beds like the ones in our cells. The table had a large selection of carved shivs and knifes, some made of carefully sharpened steel beams, others pure wooden stakes, and I even spotted one made of a metal lunch spoon.

“Welcome to the sanctuary.” shouted the warlord, he extended his hands into the air like some kind of wizard getting ready to cast a spell.

“Not so laud comrade.” I whispered, fearing the guards would hear us.

“Oh Mikeal, do you think I am that stupid, Now sit, sit. Let me let you in on some info. About 8 years ago I was mining in what the “Pigs” refer as “Shit hole zero”. it’s the most dangerous place to mine, and it still is. While I was mining my pickaxe cracked through a large chunk of wall. I peered into the dark abyss. And beheld this large cave.”

He even talked like a wizard.

“Over the next 2 months I had mined a doorway. I disappeared into the cave to live the rest of my days in here. Now I know you are wondering how I got food, well I am a man of many talents. And probably the only one in Varkura who is still in possession of dynamite. If you, nor your team have noticed, this entire cavern is rigged to blow at the touch of a button. ” he said with a large smile.

“So why do you continue to leave your “Sanctuary”?” Grapes asked.

“foolish boy, do you think I would just live the rest of my miserable life in some dark cave. NO!. this is just a keystone in a much larger event!” he exclaimed.

“Boy, do you see that piece of wall over there, the one that does not belong, the nice smooth wall of concrete?, with a trip of mined rock?” He said

“Yeah I see it, what about it?” Grapes asked.

“that, boy, that is the big picture, the cram de‘ la crop, the big kahuna, That boy…..is the north wall to the prisons armory.”

Another of those apologies about motion blur I'm afraid. New to Stagecoach Ribble(124), in 11/1998, along with sister 123, S269KHG, this B10M is seen here leaving a wet Preston Bus Station, when operating Service X61 Blackpool - Preston - Chorley - Manchester Shudehill, on 15/10/2010. After use with Ribble, it moved north of the border to Stagecoach Bluebird operating out of Peterhead then over to Orkney. It was then off from one end of the United Kingdom to the other end and worked as a driver trainer with Stagecoach South in the Stagecoach East Kent area. © Peter Steel 2010.
