Affection almost slinks or seeps through our lives. It lives with humble, un-dress, private things; soft slippers, old clothes, old jokes, the thump of a sleepy dog's tail on the kitchen floor, the sound of a sewing machine, a gollywog left on the lawn.

The Four Loves
Thanks to Asja?! for the texture used in this photo.
Love is what keeps us warm
love is what holds us together
love is what makes us form
love is more than just clever
Homage to Victor George ..... !
Shot taken from Marine drive, Cochin. As the rain is approaching father and son is running for shelter & trying to protect the cute little one from rain. I don't know what to write about the expressions on their faces. The father & son are concerned, the little one is curiously looking at something and may be wondering why everyone is running.
In split of a second they were out of my sight and it started raining. I tucked my camera in the bag, pulled out the rain cover over the bag, and started walked in the rain. As time passed the wind started to steal my umbrella, I folded it and stood there in the rain and the wind for probably an hour. Last year also I had stood in the same fashion but protecting someone from the wind and rain. But this was different, the wind was much more fierce and I could feel the rain drops piercing my soul .....
I love rain ....

Mother's Day - May 12, 2019

Under Francisca’s hard work and tender care, Darts Hill became a true plantsman’s garden containing countless species and varieties of plants from all over the world. A plantsman’s garden can be defined as a garden that is devoted to the finest horticultural examples of plants available, whether species or hybrids, which will succeed in that garden.
It is unlike a botanical garden in that it does not attempt to grow all known species or varieties of any plant group; and it is unlike a display garden in that it is not particularly concerned with formal patterns and bedding designs.
What Darts Hill has to offer is a wondrous collection of mature trees, shrubs, and perennials, set out in over 50 beds among winding mossy pathways and open lawns.
Mrs. Darts developed a particular affection for rhododendrons and magnolias, and her collection of these species is outstanding.
As Mrs. Darts planted trees and shrubs with features of all-season interest, the garden is remarkable in every month of the year.

Unnatural Affections
One Pride Day in Toronto, I noticed a guy taking a million pictures of all the scandalous perverts, but pulling faces to clearly communicate his disapproval. Of course I had to photograph his performance. The moment he noticed, he rushed up and demanded I stop. I dedicate this to him and hope he found some kind of redemption in his collection of dirty, dirty pictures.
So, for your consideration, a set of illustrations taken from an encyclopaedic catalogue of human sexual diversity, chosen to poke at the way we run together moralizing with evidence-based medicine to produce ideas about what's healthy and what's criminal. Experts dissect and evaluate and problematize, religions vilify - and tourists walk around with cameras taking pictures and going EWWWWW!
This series is showing at garner narrative gallery www.garnernarrative.com in Louisville, KY, opening Friday April 6 (6-9 pm) and running through May 25, 2018.
Took this shot when I was walking around in Magnuson Park in Seattle, and just noticed them. They were shoulder by shoulder and walked in front of me, and suddenly they stopped. I like this composition and instantly took this shot.
Among beardies, this is the ultimate face of endearment. Those eyes just scream "I love you so much..."
"... Now feed me worms you stupid fleshy piece of shit."
I pedaled as fast as I could... as if I were escaping from longing, from innocence, from her. Time has passed, and I have loved many women. And as they've held me close... and asked if I will remember them I've said, "Yes, I will remember you." But the only one I've never forgotten is the one who never asked...
