Took this shot when I was walking around in Magnuson Park in Seattle, and just noticed them. They were shoulder by shoulder and walked in front of me, and suddenly they stopped. I like this composition and instantly took this shot.
Unnatural Affections
One Pride Day in Toronto, I noticed a guy taking a million pictures of all the scandalous perverts, but pulling faces to clearly communicate his disapproval. Of course I had to photograph his performance. The moment he noticed, he rushed up and demanded I stop. I dedicate this to him and hope he found some kind of redemption in his collection of dirty, dirty pictures.
So, for your consideration, a set of illustrations taken from an encyclopaedic catalogue of human sexual diversity, chosen to poke at the way we run together moralizing with evidence-based medicine to produce ideas about what's healthy and what's criminal. Experts dissect and evaluate and problematize, religions vilify - and tourists walk around with cameras taking pictures and going EWWWWW!

He is one of my five pet dogs (besides the many stray dogs)- Noddy,
a black Labrador who thinks he is more of a kid, than a dog...lols.
Here, he has placed his face so comfortably on me (yours truly Gopal Aggarwal :)
Dogs really are from heaven, aren't they?
I've even worked up a small poem while looking at this photo,
With love in his eyes,
trust dripping from drooping ears,
He rests his chin on
his master's chest,
"Forget the world",
his master says,
And the dog wags his tail-
Both of them in their own world,
Until it's time to feed the dog again!
This photo follows in path with all the others here where one partner is identified and the other is not.
With those showing a man and woman, one is typically a romantic partner whose identity no one cares to learn. It is the family relative who counts for everything in the photograph. The romantic partner is typically lost to the ages. Prejudices against same-sex pairings in such photographs always dictate that the non-family member is a "friend." Few are willing to acknowledge that gay and lesbian folk in general from the distant past indeed did record their affections in picture for posterity.
Most everyone has a photograph of like kind in their family album. How such a photo came to be in the family album is always a mystery.
Unlikely as it looks, this is how our dogs show affection for each other. They are actually practicing their hunting skills, There is lots of growling & teeth but the tails wag and the two of them appear to enjoy themselves.

You scratch my neck, I'll scratch yours
I'm sure that all of my Flickr friends that frequently shoot at Dinner Island Ranch are acquainted with this lovely pair of Barred Owls. I've often wondered if they show up at this grove of live oaks to defend their territory or to greet us. When we observe loving affectionate interaction like this it's difficult to infer that they are agitated. They are undoubtedly relaxed and not bothered by our presence a mere 9 or 10 meters (30 to 33 feet) in front of them.
The Barred Owl (Strix varia) is a large owl native to eastern North America. They measure 40–63 cm (16–25 in) long. In recent years they have expanded their range across the northern US to the Pacific Coast and southward to California.
Typical habitat for the Barred Owl is dense woodlands. They prey on small mammals, reptiles and frogs.

there seemed to be lots of same-sex friendly affection in morocco. perhaps because opposite-sex affection isn't considered ok?

remain without that devotee. In fact, He does not leave the heart of that
devotee even for a fraction of a second. Therefore, such a devotee does,
in fact, constantly maintain contact with God in the five ways. How? Because
the same panchvishays that no being can stay without, that devotee has
considered to be vain; instead, he has attached himself to God in the five
ways. Therefore, that devotee maintains a constant relationship with
God.”
