Heading home to Ladner from Victoria (on Vancouver Island (Canada)) today, there was enough fog that a lookout was posted at the front of the ferry. I spent the first half of the trip with a 180mm lens capturing the wonderful bleakness/richness of the fog. It is the long weekend, so there were a lot of small craft about, livening up our trip.

Active Assignment Weekly: July 30 – Aug. 6: Tree or trees
I took this photograph in the park. The idea came when I was standing there and saw a group of boys all in red running on the spot where the man in this picture appears. However, they were too fast, so I couldn't get ready to take the pic. I waited, and waited and waited for them to come again (I imagined they were running around the park) and they never came back. When I got home, I realised that this old man looked wonderful too. I loved the tree and all the different marks it has on the trunk, so I wanted to show it in my picture too.
