Our daughter send me the shot of Lucy in the book shelf today. She wasn´t in the book shelf for a while. So she feels better today! This morning Lucy got her second infusion at the vet. After the first infusion on Monday she started eating and stopped vomiting, a very good sign! The vet found her much more agile than on Monday.
Thank you so much for all your kind wishes, and good thoughts, dear Flickrfriends! Our daughter appreciates very much, so do I.
Dieses Foto hat mir unsere Tochter heute geschickt: Lucy im Bücherregal. Heute war sie dort das erste Mal wieder seit einer ganzen Weile, ein gutes Zeichen! Heute früh hat Lucy ihre 2. Infusion bei der TÄ bekommen; seit Montag hat Lucy gut gefressen und nicht mehr erbrochen. Die Tierärztin fand sie viel agiler als am Montag.

Die Kosten für den Bau der Kuppel wurden durch eine private Spende finanziert. Das war aber an die Bedingung geknüpft, auch das Kreuz, das früher auf die seinerzeit in der Kuppel befindliche Kapelle verwies, die nicht wieder eingerichtet wurde, und die umlaufende Inschrift wiederhergestellt würden. König Friedrich Wilhelm IV. hatte diese anbringen lassen, und ihr Text ruft heute Kontroversen hervor: „Es ist in keinem andern Heil, ist auch kein anderer Name den Menschen gegeben, denn in dem Namen Jesu, zur Ehre Gottes des Vaters. Dass in dem Namen Jesu sich beugen sollen aller derer Knie, die im Himmel und auf Erden und unter der Erde sind.“. Die im Humboldt Forum vertretenen Kulturinstitutionen setzten jetzt ein Zeichen: „Alle Institutionen im Humboldt-Forum distanzieren sich ausdrücklich von dem Alleingültigkeits- und Herrschaftsanspruch des Christentums, den die Inschrift zum Ausdruck bringt“, heißt es in einem Text für eine Informationstafel, die in Form eines Bronzereliefs in Kürze auf der nun fertiggestellten Dachterrasse angebracht werden soll. Der Text hatte eine öffentliche Debatte ausgelöst, weil vielfach darauf hingewiesen worden war, dass das Humboldt-Forum im Berliner Schloss dem Dialog der Kulturen der Welt dienen solle, was mit der umstrittenen Inschrift aber kaum vereinbar sei.

Het jaar 2021 stond grotendeels in het teken van Corona. Dat betekende dat de meeste evenementen en stoomritten geen doorgang konden vinden. Gelukkig was het bij enkele museumlijnen wel rondom de zomermaanden mogelijk om, met een reservering en op 1,5 afstand, nog even van stoom te kunnen genieten. Samen met mijn vrouw en oudste zoon na een wandeling in de Horsten nog een bezoekje gebracht. Voor mij was dit kleine en erg leuke museumpje de eerste keer weer stoom snuiven na maanden.
The year 2021 was largely dominated by Corona. That meant that most events and special services could not take place. Fortunately, it was possible on some heritage lines to be able to enjoy steam with a reservation and 1.5 distance, around the summer months . After a walk in The Horsten,my wife, eldest son and I paid a visit again. For me, this small and very nice museum was the first time we sniffed some steam after months.
Das Jahr 2021 stand ganz im Zeichen von Corona. Das bedeutete, dass die meisten Veranstaltungen und Dampffahrten nicht stattfinden konnten. Glücklicherweise war es auf einigen Museumslinien um die Sommermonate herum möglich, mit einer Reservierung und 1,5 Distanz eine Weile Dampf zu genießen. Nach einem Spaziergang im Horsten stattete meiner Frau, meinem ältesten Sohn und ich einen Besuch ab. Für mich war dieses kleine und sehr schöne Museum das erste Mal, dass wir nach Monaten Dampf geatmet haben.
Sumpfspringaffen leben im dichten Unterholz feuchter und überschwemmter Tropenwälder sowie auch in aleriewäldern in einem größeren Gebiet in Südamerika. Sie leben in unzertrennlich wirkenden Familienverbänden. Oft sitzen sie dicht beisammen und ringeln zum Zeichen ihrer Verbundenheit ihre Schwänze umeinander. Das ist an ihrem Innengehege im Affenhaus zu lesen.
Red tities live in the dense undergrowth of humid and flooded tropical forests, as well as in alder forests across a large area of South America. They live in seemingly inseparable family groups. They often sit close together and wrap their tails around each other as a sign of their bond. This can be read on an information board at their indoor enclosure in the monkey house.
Deze dag stond in het teken van goederenvervoer bij de RTM. Diverse stoom en diesellocs reden goederentrams of personentrams met goederenwagens. Het weer was uitstekend en de trams weer schitterend.
This day was all about freight transport at the RTM. Various steam and diesel locomotives drove freight trams or passenger trams with freight wagons. The weather was excellent and the trams were again magnificent.
Dieser Tag stand im RTM ganz im Zeichen des Gütertransports. Verschiedene Dampf- und Diesellokomotiven trieben Güterstraßenbahnen bzw. Personenstraßenbahnen mit Güterwagen an. Das Wetter war ausgezeichnet und die Straßenbahnen waren wieder wunderschön.
Am Wochenende des 21. 22. und 23.04.23 stand im Zeichen der Wumme. Um Gera wurde an drei Tagen ein Fotogüterzug im Stil der Deutschen Reichsbahn der 70er Jahre gefahren.
The weekend of 21. 22. and 23.04.23 was dominated by the Wumme. A photo freight train in the style of the German Reichsbahn of the 70s was run around Gera on three days.
Il fine settimana del 21.22 e 23.04.23 è stato dominato dalla Wumme. Un treno merci fotografico nello stile della Reichsbahn tedesca degli anni '70 ha fatto il giro di Gera per tre giorni.
