My Monday flower greeting today is all about love.
That's why I took a photo of the Bleeding Heart in my garden yesterday.
I love this flower that we only planted three years ago (at my request) and I'm happy every year when it blooms again.
And so I wish you a week full of love. Receive it, send it out, and give it to yourself. Opportunities for all three realms exist anytime, anywhere.
Incidentally, what is special about love is that it increases the more you are giving away.
Mein montäglicher Blumengruß steht heute ganz im Zeichen der Liebe.
Darum habe ich gestern extra ein Foto vom Tränenden Herz in meinem Garten gemacht.
Ich liebe diese Blume, die wir erst vor drei Jahren eingeplanzt haben (auf meinen Wunsch hin) und freue mich jedes Jahr, wenn sie wieder blüht.
Und so wünsche ich Euch eine Woche voller Liebe. Empfangt sie, sendet sie aus und gebt sie Euch selbst. Gelegenheiten für alle drei Bereiche gibt es zu jeder Zeit und an jedem Ort.
Das Besondere an der Liebe ist übrigens, dass sie mehr wird, je mehr man von ihr verschenkt.

Sie stehen auf dem höchsten Punkt des Ruhrgebiets, einer Halde bei Bottrop - die "Totems" von Agustín Ibarolla. 2002 schuf der baskische Künstler die Installation aus mehr als 100 ausgedienten Eisenbahnschwellen, die er mit Säge und Farbe bearbeitete und dann senkrecht in den Boden einließ. Durch ihre bunte Bemalung bilden sie einen spektakulären Kontrast zum Grau der Halde.
Archaische Skulpturen
Unterhalb des Haldengipfels, zu Füßen der "Totems", wird im Bergwerk Prosper-Haniel noch immer Kohle gefördert. Doch die Industrielandschaft rundum hat sich auf radikale Weise verändert. Ibarollas archaisch anmutende Skulpturen sind ein Sinnbild für den Wandel. Die Eisenbahnschwelle, einst Zeichen für industriellen Fortschritt, für Mobilität und Wachstum, ist gedreht in die Vertikale, das Material vom Zweck befreit.
They stand on the highest point of the Ruhr area, a dump near Bottrop - the "Totems" of Agustin Ibarolla. In 2002, the Basque artist created the installation from more than 100 worn-out railway sleepers, which he worked with saws and paint and then let into the ground vertically. Through their colourful painting, they form a spectacular contrast to the grey of the heap.
Archaic sculptures
Underneath the peak of the pile, at the foot of the "Totems", coal is still mined in the Prosper-Haniel mine. But the industrial landscape around it has changed radically. Ibarolla's archaic-looking sculptures are a symbol of change. The railway threshold, once a sign of industrial progress, of mobility and growth, is turned into the vertical, freeing material from purpose.
Die ersten Kuhschellen (= Küchenschellen, Pulsatilla vulgaris) in einem fränkischen Naturschutzgebiet sind erblüht! Ein untrügliches Zeichen dafür, dass der Frühling angebrochen ist, auch wenn das Wetter im Moment nicht ganz danach ist.
The first pasque flowers (Pulsatilla vulgaris) are blooming in a Franconian nature reserve! An unmistakable sign that spring has arrived, even if the weather is not quite like it at the moment.
Sonne, Frühnebel, tiefe Wolken, gelbe Rapsfelder, alles Zeichen für einen stimmungsvollen Sonnenaufgang.

The last of my photographs were more tranquil and contemplative. Today I'm in the mood for vitality and power.
This is why I decided for the photo of this with water drops covered, blood red dianthus flower. This colour is symbolising passion, love, fire but also fortune, joy and prosperity. The picture is completed by the water drops as a symbol of purification and the pure life itself.
Overall not the worst wishes I could have for the christmas time and beyond that.
Die letzten meiner Bilder waren eher still und nachdenklich. Heute steht mir der Sinn nach Lebensfreude und Energie.
Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich für dieses Bild einer von Wassertropfen überzogenen blutroten Nelke entschieden. Diese Farbe sympolisiert Leidenschaft, Liebe, Feuer aber auch Glück, Freude und Wohlstand. Ergänzt wird das Bild durch die Wassertröpfchen als Zeichen für die Reinigung und das pure Leben an sich.
Insgesamt nicht die schlechtesten Wünsche die ich haben könnte, für die Weihnachtszeit und darüber hinaus.

Eine neue Aufnahme von dem Eibsee. Meine Erste! Der Eibsee ist direkt unter der Zugspitze gelegen.
Vor zwei Wochen war der See fast komplett zugefroren, sodass man drauf laufen konnte.
Leider hat die Sonne nur paar Minuten die Gipfel noch beleuchtet.

Two weeks ago, the lake was almost completely frozen, so you could walk on it.
Unfortunately, the sun has only a few minutes the peaks still illuminated.
The play Umarła klasa, The Dead Class, is a play and happening with autobiographical references (see above for stagings) and can still be seen as a sculpture today. It has also been called the theatre of death. A copy with four rising benches can be seen in the collection of the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. The eight "pupil" puppets in the rows of benches have a strong presence in the arrangement, which is interpreted as threatening by many viewers. The life-size dolls paradoxically appear like old men through painting and hair replacement. The materials used are reminiscent of poverty, which is seen here as a sign of hopelessness.
A group of photographs of scenes from the first production in 1975 is also exhibited there. Photographer: Wojtek Sperl (* 1950), Location: Krzysztofory Gallery, Kraków (Cracow, southern Poland). Andrzej Wajda filmed a production in 1976 with Tadeusz Kantor as acting director of the group Cricot2 and performer.
Das Theaterstück Umarła klasa, Die tote Klasse, ist Schauspiel und Happening mit autobiografischen Bezügen (Inszenierungen s. o.) und kann noch heute als Skulptur betrachtet werden. Es wurde auch als Theater des Todes bezeichnet. Ein Exemplar mit vier aufsteigenden Bänken kann in der Sammlung der Pinakothek der Moderne in München betrachtet werden. Die acht „Schüler“-Puppen in den Bankreihen haben in der Anordnung eine starke Präsenz, die von vielen Betrachtenden als bedrohlich interpretiert wird. Die lebensgroßen Puppen wirken durch Bemalung und Haarersatz paradoxerweise wie Greise. Die verwendeten Materialien erinnern an Armut, die hier als Zeichen für Hoffnungslosigkeit gilt.
Dort ist auch eine Werkgruppe von Szenenfotos der ersten Inszenierung von 1975 ausgestellt. Fotograf: Wojtek Sperl (* 1950), Ort: Galerie Krzysztofory, Kraków (Krakau, Südpolen). Andrzej Wajda filmte 1976 eine Inszenierung mit Tadeusz Kantor als agierendem Regisseur der Gruppe Cricot2 und Darsteller.

Diesen Frühling blüht die Kamelie in meinem Garten zum ersten Mal richtig gut. Es ist trocken und warm, so dass die Knospen nicht erfrieren oder vor lauter Regen abgammeln.
Eigentlich schön, aber auch ein Zeichen unseres Klimawandels.........
This spring the camellia in my garden is blooming really well for the first time. It's dry and warm, so the buds don't freeze to death or die of constant rain.
Actually nice, but also a sign of our climate change.........
Sand lizards are relatively rare because their populations have declined significantly in many regions. They are particularly strictly protected throughout Europe.
Sand lizards belong to the genus Green Lizards. In March/April, the animals emerge from their hibernation hiding places, first need to warm up, and then shed their skin.
At 18-20 cm in total length, with its vibrant green flanks and brown back coloration, this is a male in the picture. It is mating season.
During this time, only the males "green up." The basic color of both sexes is brown.
I'm happy that there are lizards in my garden. This is a positive sign that indicates that my garden has a high level of biodiversity.
The sand lizard was "Reptile of the Year 2020/2021."
Zauneidechse (Lacerta agilis)
Zauneidechsen sind relativ selten, weil ihre Populationen in vielen Regionen stark geschrumpft sind. Sie sind in ganz Europa besonders streng geschützt.
Zauneidechsen zählen zur Gattung der Smaragdeidechsen.
Im März/April kommen die Tiere aus ihren Winterruheverstecken, müssen sich zunächst aufwärmen und dann häuten.
Mit 18 - 20 cm Gesamtlänge, den prächtig grünen Flanken und der braunen Rückenfärbung ist dies auf dem Bild ein Männchen. Es ist Paarungszeit.
Während dieser Zeit "ergrünen" nur die Männchen. Die Grundfarbe beider Geschlechter ist braun.
Ich freue mich, dass Eidechsen in meinem Garten vorhanden sind. Denn dies ist ein positives Zeichen, das darauf hinweist, dass mein Garten eine große Artenvielfalt aufweist.
Die Zauneidechse war "Reptil des Jahres 2020/2021".
Im September 2009 unternahm die V 200 116 des DB Museums mit Rheingold- Wagen des "Freundeskreis Eisenbahn Köln e.V." (FEK) eine Tagessonderfahrt im Zeichen des Frankenweins in die älteste Weinstadt Frankens, nach Hammelburg. Dabei wurde die damals noch flächendeckend mit alter Infrastruktur ausgestattete "Fränkische Saaletalbahn" befahren. Hier ist der Zug bereits auf der Rückfahrt als DPE 88191 Hammelburg - Köln am westlichen Einfahrsignal Hammelburg zu sehen.

In September 2009, the DB Museum's V 200 116 with Rheingold coaches of the "Freundeskreis Eisenbahn Köln e.V." (FEK) undertook a special day trip under the sign of Franconian wine to the oldest wine town in Franconia, Hammelburg. This involved travelling on the "Franconian Saale Valley Railway", which was still equipped with old infrastructure throughout the area at that time. Here the train can just be seen on its return journey as DPE 88191 Hammelburg - Cologne at the western entry signal of Hammelburg.

Since a long time, the stork is a symbol for fertility. There is an old saying, that the stork is bringing you a baby, when visiting you. Instantly I had to think of that when this visitor was sitting on my chimney, two days ago. So a called for my daughter Lilly (16 years old) spontaneously asking her, if she would like to tell me something. She was able to make me believe, that this was a wrong alert. Phuuu. Being a father of a daughter sometimes is a hell of a job.
Der Storch ist seit jeher ein Zeichen für Fruchtbarkeit. Es gibt ein altes Sprichwort welches besagt, dass der Storch Dir ein Baby bringt, wenn er Dich besucht. Daran musste ich augenblicklich denken, als dieser Besucher vorgestern auf meinem Schornstein saß. Also hab ich spontan meine Tochter Lilly (16 Jahre alt) dazu gerufen und sie gefragt, ob sie mir gern etwas erzählen möchte. Sie konnte mir glaubhaft versichern, dass es falscher Alarm war. Phuuuu. Der Vater einer Tochter zu sein ist schon manchmal ein heftiger Job.

ENG: The Stralauer Platz is a historically grown city square in the Berlin district Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg between Ostbahnhof (former Schlesischer station and Central station) and the northern bank of the Spree River. Created in the 18th century, the square got its name in 1823 after the direction to the peninsula Stralau. And exactly here I snapped my photo of the main entrance of the EnergieForum-Berlin.
From the beginning the Stralauer Platz in Berlin-Friedrichshain stood under the sign of the energy. So around 1847 Stand here already at that time the first municipal gas station for gas lighting in Berlin. The today's central magazine building under monument protection was then finished by the city administration "GASAG" around 1908 and supplied so for decades the Berlin districts with gas.
After German reunification, the entire property became the property of the Berlin Senate. The historic areas, such as the central magazine and Kontorhaus, were extensively restored by 2002 and an atrium was added. These are now the headquarters of the Center for Future Energies, International Solar Center and the Berlin Energy Agency, thus combined as Energieforum Berlin.

GER: Der Stralauer Platz ist ein historisch gewachsener Stadtplatz im Berliner Bezirk Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg zwischen Ostbahnhof (ehem. Schlesischer Bahnhof und Hauptbahnhof) und dem Nordufer der Spree. Der im 18. Jahrhundert angelegte Platz erhielt 1823 seinen Namen nach der Richtung zur Halbinsel Stralau. Und genau hier habe ich mein Foto vom Haupteingang des EnergieForum-Berlin geknipst.
Von Anfang an stand der Stralauer Platz in Berlin-Friedrichshain unter dem Zeichen der Energie. So um 1847 Stand hier schon damals die erste Städtische Gasanstalt für die Gasbeleuchtung in Berlin. Das heutige unter Denkmalschutz stehende Zentralmagazin-Gebäude wurde dann von der Stadtverwaltung „GASAG“ um 1908 fertiggestellt und versorgte so jahrzehntelang die Berliner Stadtteile mit Gas.
Nach der deutschen Wiedervereinigung fiel die gesamte Immobilie in den Besitz des Berliner Senats. Die historischen Bereiche wie das Zentralmagazin und Kontorhaus wurde bis 2002 umfassend restauriert und um ein Atrium erweitert. Diese sind nunmehr Sitz des Zentrums Zukunftsenergien, International Solar Center und der Berliner Energieagentur also zusammengefasst als Energieforum Berlin.
