How many cupcakes do you see?
I haven't left the house today. Yet. I don't know what I will do, but I am sure it won't involve cupcakes. Damn it.
This is my photo for August 30, 2009.

I tried the right foot - it fitted perfectly.
I unwrapped the second and noticed the motif was on the wrong side of the slipper.......

Scout really gets into opening presents. In fact he started last night while we were out by opening one of mine.
Hope everyone had a fun Christmas morning.
I think my parents' way of telling us that Santa wasn't real was to put the presents out weeks in advance.

I wanted to document our apartment setup so I turned all the lights off except those on the Christmas tree and generated an HDR which I promptly tonemapped. My wife made that banner overhead during her snowday on Monday (I was/am jealous).
Emmanuel is Hebrew for "God [is] with us". As a Christian, it's vital to remind yourself of why you're celebrating Christmas and the fewer cheesy phrases you can use, the better! I find this word has helped me out so I thought I'd pass it along.
I just realized this images makes for a great I-spy.

I finally finished my Christmas shopping! Okay fine, not really because I still need to shop for my Secret Santa...but family-wise, I'm done!
It's my first year having a job during the holidays and having a job comes with money so I was able to buy presents this year! :) It's 3:40am right now and I'm going to put these gifts under our fake little sparkling Christmas tree so my family can discover them when they wake up in the morning.
Giving a gift is really something special. The thoughts put into each one, the effort of wrapping them (somewhat) nicely, and then finally, the expression on the person's face when they rip apart the wrapping paper and discover what is inside. The feeling is really unexplainable.
Anyway, we don't have any more Christmas wrapping paper at home...so I used this one. I'm guessing it's supposed to be for birthdays because there's the birthday hat....but it doesn't have any wording on it so it will do for Christmas :)
I recently bought this copy of Harvest Moon 64 from an Internet pal. Along with the cart, he sent a few additional surprises, three of which can be seen in this photo. What a nice guy, right? Anyway, more of my thoughts about this experience can be found here, if you're interested: www.thegaygamer.com/2015/01/i-told-you-ive-got-harvest-mo...

Dora had a blast on Christmas morning, playing with all the catnip toys and romping around in the tissue and wrapping paper!
