I was rummaging through my Mom's stack of wrapping paper when I came across this CUTE teddy bear paper...had to upload a picture of it! XD
My sweet friend, Pamela Terry (see PamelaTerry.net) sent us this photograph of my William Morris variation called Florida Room. A gift, indeed!
as you can see there is no string.
one of the many gifts I've wrapped for Christmas so far. This one using paper from a Conde Nast Traveler magazine.

I wanted to document our apartment setup so I turned all the lights off except those on the Christmas tree and generated an HDR which I promptly tonemapped. My wife made that banner overhead during her snowday on Monday (I was/am jealous).
Emmanuel is Hebrew for "God [is] with us". As a Christian, it's vital to remind yourself of why you're celebrating Christmas and the fewer cheesy phrases you can use, the better! I find this word has helped me out so I thought I'd pass it along.
I just realized this images makes for a great I-spy.

I love this paper. The coloring and composition just appeal to me. I guess that it could be used for any number of occasions. I can picture a bridal shower, birthday or lovely Victorian / sugary Christmas gift as well.

The new school year starts on Wednesday and all books have to be bought and covered before the first day.
My daughter chose this star wrapping paper as her "theme" and we spent this morning together covering the books.
Tonight she wants to mark all her pencils and pens and kokis which we also had to buy ourselves. All part of the excitement of going back to school.

This was my nesting envelope that ended up with Stewart. Somehow he was actually able to read some of the letter on the back....
I found some amazing 60's/70's wrapping paper at an estate sale. Some of it came in this box which is also pretty cool.
I do not eat seafood. I have tried several different fishes and shrimps and whatnot, I just don't care for it at all. It's a texture thing. *shrugs shoulders* I woke up this morning and got ready to go to my WW meeting. I have been very frustrated with my progress lately. I have gained 0.4 for two weeks in a row. Yes, I know that I didn't even gain a pound, but I had been going for 10-11 weeks with no gain whatsoever. So I was disappointed in myself. I stepped it up this week with exercise. I know that the two must go hand in hand in order for me to have any kind of long-term success. Fast forward to this morning. I lost 3.8 pounds this week. That makes 28.4 overall. Woo hoo! I feel better, I sleep better, I am proud of myself. The only negative thus far? My clothes are getting loose. Boo hoo, right? Well, I have a closet full of clothes that I adore. I suppose there could be worse things. After my meeting, I came home, took wrapping paper photos, cleaned the kitchen, loaded the Durango up with food and headed over to my sister's house for a family reunion. I saw family members that I haven't seen in forever and a day. It was a really good day. I hope that you had a good day, too.
This is my photo for May 2, 2009.
