last day w/ the ponies. maybe. getting it chopped/trimmed tomorrow. i have not decided yet. i usually go in and tell my hairdresser to do whatever she wants.

so anyway, i was feeling all nostalgic today and remembering the old days here on flickr. i decided to do a tribute to the legendary dyxie w/ the wrapping paper background. remember when dyxie and clem and kelly and kat and kat and ces and dave and tara and julie and tammy and dare and jessica and duane and sarah and kristi and kristen and mon and jody and kendra and mikey and linda and tricia and trisha and beth and carrie and jamie and lauren and cindy and amanda and jimmay and scott and.....were all around? i miss the old days....

Every Christmas when I pull out the wrapping paper I think of my mom who was the master wrapper -- I swear she had some kind of topological formula in her head to wrap presents with the absolute least amount of wasted paper ("okay, this present will fit that way, and then if I get that one over there and lay it sideways along that end of the roll . . .")

This year my mom didn't put our normal sized tree up since no one is really going to be at our house for Christmas, so I tried to get as much of the teeny tree that is where the big one should be in this shot.

I've got many things to create and bake within these next couple days, I try to buy as little as possible for Christmas, and make things for people instead. This year it's mainly one project that's taking up all my time, but I'm hoping to get it done by Thursday! (Possible pictures of if after Christmas) I think it's silly how much money is spent around Christmas, it's not what the Holiday is about!

Have you ever seen this video?

Good stuff.

I had so much fun sitting down with a little mulled wine to wrap presents this year!

Repeat pattern for Wrap Magazine.

This lovely gift bag is hand constructed from Amy Butler Designer Card Stock.

It is large enough to hold items such as: Book, Hat / Scraf, Gift Set of Lotions or Colognes, DVD's etc....

Gift Bag has a floral design of flower in the colors of White, Brown, with background of light teal blue and celery green. The card stock is double-sided so the inner part of the bag is a light teal blue with a decorative bottom.

The handles of the bag is made with olive green colored satin ribbon.

Included: Tag and Tissue Paper (optional - shredded tissue)

Measures: 7" across x 10" in length x 2" wide

What is nice about this gift bag is that you can fold the handles down and use it as a vase. Simply place some silk flowers inside and it makes a wonderful decor for a mantle, table, or bedroom.
