BUBBLE GUM CARDS / wrapping paper

This is a great Christmas tradition. We unwrap our parcels together, and put all the wrapping paper in a big heap in the middle. Then everyone grabs a pair of scissors and some Sellotape, and we all make ourselves hats.

:-)

They're much better than anything you get out of a cracker.

1. Holiday Humor - It just wouldn't seem right not to include a holiday-related assignment this week. For this one, make us laugh!

Take a Class with Dave and Dave

I was inspired by this on the website heroarts.com/stampcraft/stampcraft.cfm?craftID=97&catID=. I love the way the box, wrapping paper and cards are all co-ordinated.

The set I made is for a new baby girl. I had great fun making the box, card and wrapping paper. But I’m glad I didn’t have a huge size present to wrap as there was plenty of colouring and applying stickles on this size one! I’ll definitely make lots more wrapping paper in the future.

(The box is in the other photo. This is just to show the wrapping paper properly)

I made several pieces of wrapping paper with my sketch.

PERFECT FOR KIDS.

Tiny slices of 12x18" kraft paper. Kinda successful.

Everything from my walls, to my thoughts, to my drinks and my straws. They are coming out of the woodworks. (Look Mandy! Look at the wrapping paper! $1 at Target!!!)

I had way too much fun doing this. I think it's a sickness. Simpsonus Obsessive. Err.... or something. Yay Simpsons!

135/365 Just need to wrap a few more gifts now!

I tried the right foot - it fitted perfectly.

I unwrapped the second and noticed the motif was on the wrong side of the slipper.......

Only the Mother-in-Law......

How many cupcakes do you see?

I haven't left the house today. Yet. I don't know what I will do, but I am sure it won't involve cupcakes. Damn it.

This is my photo for August 30, 2009.

Scout really gets into opening presents. In fact he started last night while we were out by opening one of mine.

Hope everyone had a fun Christmas morning.

Today I designed some wrapping paper for christmas. The pattern needs repeating.
