Modular Origami Star (Maria Sinayskaya)

squares, 6 units, no glue

The first iteration of this star was created in 2013, but on closer inspection I realised the folding sequence wasn't exactly right.

The star above is a new, corrected version - although it looks the same to the naked eye.

I so love this paper. Pretty sure that it dates to the early 1970s.

I bought wrapping paper at the Christian Ministry Store that had a 1970's children's birthday party theme...and to my everlasting delight...THIS pretty pink Christmas paper was wrapped up inside it!!!

Children are so delightful and very often ingenious as shown here where the children delight in finding the wrapping paper from a baby shower to play in. They got completely engrossed in the activity!

Direct scan of a lovely piece of vintage wrapping paper from the early 1980s. I wrapped the first gift I gave to my fiance (now my husband) in this paper.

Alex gave me a nice new Timbuktu bag (he already gave me one this year, but it's now the diaper bag) and it was wrapped in this sweet paper.

wrapped all of the christmas presents for my parents to ship them off since I won't get to go home this year :(

It is always a bit hard to put such a giant animals like a whale in a repeat pattern whilst to make it look nice, so let's see if it will be a good outcome this time. The key message is that animals has their own place to live harmony together~

I just revamped my entire scrapbook/guest room. I painted some old bookcases black. I rearranged furniture, painted my bulletin board, and covered it in damask felt wrapping paper. I also got a metal ruler, attached it to my wall with double sided tape and stuck some magnetic storage tins on it.
