Perry and Ralph have known each other for 40 years. They were principals in the same school district for 30 of those years. Upon retiring, they both ended up in Oklahoma City. The found a fitness facility halfway between their homes where they meet five days a week (same place where I workout). Great friends, and I'm glad to know them.

I had instant, tactile memories of every accessory and every article of clothing when I got to the eighties. Oh, god, how we loved Barbies.
Workout Barbie's a classic :) This one was Joy's, and one of our first ones. My fingers can still feel how strechy that pink belt is (it's very long in the back), how surprisingly hard those shoes are, and how time-consuming it was to shove Barbie's sticky legs all the way into that lycra body suit. It would always roll up at the bottoms and we'd have to roll them back down her legs at the end, and then they'd inevitably get tangled up in the leg warmers at that stage!
