After watching the dawn break, I walked around the lake and took a shot from the same position I had been in earlier.
The sky was now a beautiful shade of blue, dappled with clouds.
Maple Trees Are Golden....
Karen and i took a drive down town to Bramptons beautiful Gage Park to watch the skating on the winter trail. This shot was my test shot taken to get my settings sorted out for the actual photo shoot. the sun was hanging low in the winter sky and sparkled through the few stubborn leaves on the trees that refused to fall to the ground despite the rain snow ice and wind that we had experienced since the fall..

For a change of pace, to cool us off, here is a shot from the winter archives. Just peeking through the snow covered branches is the glow of a warm light.

Facing west we see the many homes across the street, always outlined with the beautiful sunsets above them.

Lacy trees silhouetted by the lovely sunset - something we don't see very often in these gray rainy days!
