An American Airlines Boeing 767 passes at cruising height (35000ft +) about 6.9 miles up.

This ones has the retro-fitted winglets - very big ones! They cut fuel consumption by about 5%.

It looks a bit sporty!

It's our favourite day of the week! Winglet Wednesday is back with this awesome photo courtesy of Natalie, one of our talented communications advisors. She took this photo as her flight was turning for its final approach into Montego Bay, Jamaica. Show us your best shot!

In celebration of our new code-share deal with KLM, here's a Winglet Wednesday pic of WestJet and KLM taken at the gate in Calgary. What do you think? Are you as excited as we are?

Minutes after takeoff from Denver International Airport, our Southwest Airlines flight takes the sharp turn toward the east and toward our final destination of Kansas City.

From my window seat on our Boeing 737, a view of the Southwest Winglet and the Denver Skyline and the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains.

LS 18 winglet?

This picture was taken during the descent towards the Bergamo Airport [BGY/LIME], flight 4643 from Bratislava [BTS/LZIB].

A very nice flight, with lots of spectacular (and treacherous!) clouds surrounding us: as the captain told me at the end of the flight, we we were vectored to avoid them.

Then, direct to BEG VOR for the ILS - X, runway 28.

Notice the speedbrakes deployed.

Do you want to be here?! Winter is approaching and we have a lot of flights to Montego Bay, Jamaica in our upcoming schedule. Today's Winglet Wednesday pic is dedicated to everybody who needs a vacation. Thanks to Mark, from our Calgary Tech Ops team, for taking this photo.
