In the CAAC Aeronautical Collection at Tianjin, China, one of three Antonov 2's/Nanchang Y-5's, and this one has those extraordinary winglets.
Brand new winglet just installed on this former ATA 757-300.
Strange to think this aircraft has not been seen with winglets by anyone outside this hangar, or in CO scheme for that matter.

Thought folks would like a close-up of the new APB split winglets Alaska Airlines is putting on their 737s. OK, I admit it - I passed my assigned seat during boarding to get this photo... big mistake.

Designed by Aviation Partners, these new winglets offer more fuel economy, more range and extra payload when compared to standard winglets.
Wingtip devices, sometimes called Winglets, are intended to improve the efficiency of fixed-wing aircraft.
There are several types of wingtip devices, and although they function in different manners, the intended effect is always to reduce the aircraft's drag by partial recovery of the tip vortex energy. Wingtip devices can also improve aircraft handling characteristics and enhance safety for following aircraft. Such devices increase the effective aspect ratio of a wing without materially increasing the wingspan. An extension of span would lower lift-induced drag, but would increase parasitic drag and would require boosting the strength and weight of the wing. At some point, there is no net benefit from further increased span. There may also be operational considerations that limit the allowable wingspan (e.g., available width at airport gates).
Large winglets such as those seen on the Boeing 757 (as seen here) are blended winglets which are most useful during short-distance flights, where increased climb performance offsets increased drag.
Almost forgot about this one. A freshly delivered (at the time) C-GOWG doing an engine run up on Runway 33L. Fuel savings blah blah blah... these winglets just look awesome!

21 days on the road, 4100 km and only about 27 rolls of film. Winging our way to Vancouver. This trip was more of a friends and family trip - less "photographic". I only visited one camera/film shop during the whole time, Fotoimpex in Berlin - picked up some Fomopan 400.

As seen from my window seat, the winglet of our Southwest Airlines Boeing 737, taxing to Runway 17R at Denver International Airport, with the Jeppesen Terminal in the background. This was on our flight from Denver back to Kansas City.
