21 days on the road, 4100 km and only about 27 rolls of film. Winging our way to Vancouver. This trip was more of a friends and family trip - less "photographic". I only visited one camera/film shop during the whole time, Fotoimpex in Berlin - picked up some Fomopan 400.

Usually, JAL 17 to Tokyo leaves long before I start my shift at 1700. Because of this, I hardly ever see a 767 sporting winglets. I still can't get used to this look! What do you think?

Winglet. These devices are to prevent wingtip spill reducing drag and therefore increasing fuel consumption but is it that effective on short haul flight. because Japan Airlines Boeing 747-400 used on domestic routes for example don't have the winglets.

I got a window seat for my flight home from SFO, however it was on the right hand side, whereas all the interesting views -- San Francisco, bridges, bay, sunset, etc. -- were on the left. So, I settled for a purple sky and a wing.

The starboard side winglet on the Boeing 767-300ER for Delta Air Lines. This is approximatly 11 feet tall from tip to bottom. Very impressive to see this considering the 757's winglets were large at first sight too!
