With 'Split Scimitar' blended winglets.
This aircraft was delivered to Yamasa Aircraft Leasing and leased to Thomson Airways as G-TAWO in Mar-13. The standard blended winglets were replaced with Split Scimitar winglets in Dec-14.
The aircraft was sub-leased to Sunwing Airlines as C-GEWO in Dec-15, returning at Thomson Airways as G-TAWO in Mar-16. Thomson Airways was renamed TUI Airlines UK in Oct-17.
It was leased to Sunwing again as C-GEWO between Dec-17/May-18 when it returned to TUI UK as G-TAWO. It was wet-leased to Sunwing between Dec-19/Mar-20.
On return the aircraft was stored at Newcastle due to the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Europe. it returned to service in Dec-20. The aircraft was again leased to Sunwing Airlines in Nov-21, this time as C.-.F.Y.J.O. It's due to return to TUI Airways UK in Mar/Apr-22. Current, updated 21-Nov-21.

Now with the standard winglets replaced with 'Scimitar' winglets (with the 'pointy bit' at the top).
This aircraft was delivered to Iberia (Spain) with the temporary Spanish registration EC-610 in Aug-94. It became EC-FYL in Oct-94. Iberia didn't keep their Boeing 757 fleet for long and this one was sold to a lessor in Jul-99.
It was leased to National Airlines (USA) as N508NA in Aug-99. The aircraft was repossessed by the lessor in Nov-02 and stored at Marana, AZ, USA.
In May-03 it was leased to Fly Air (Turkiye) as TC-FLD and immediately wet-leased to Sudan Airways. It returned to Fly Air in Oct-03 and was stored at Lasham, UK before being returned to the lessor in Feb-04 as N262SR.
The aircraft was leased to Phuket Air (Thailand) as HS-KAK in Apr-04 and returned to the lessor as N262SR in Mar-05.
It was leased to Icelandair subsidiary, Loftleidir Icelandic as TF-FIT in Apr-05 and wet-leased to Axis Airways (France) five days later.
It was returned to Loftleidir Icelandic in Nov-05. In May-07 the aircraft was wet-leased to 'fly Globespan .com' (Scotland UK) for the summer season, returning to Loftleidir Icelandic in Oct-07.
In Dec-07 the aircraft was fitted with blended winglets and wet-leased to Yakutia Airlines (Russia). The wet-lease became a dry-lease in Feb-08 when it was re-registered VP-BFG. It was returned to Icelandair as TF-FIT in May-14. In Mar-17 the standard winglets were replaced by 'Scimitar' winglets (with the 'pointy bit' at the top!
The aircraft continued in service with Icelandair until it was parked at Keflavik, Iceland in Mar-20 when the COVID-19 Pandemic hit the world. It was ferried to Anchorage, AK, USA in Mar-21 and returned to the lessor as N1902S.
In Apr-22 it was ferried to Xiamen, China where the aircraft was converted to freighter configuration with a main deck cargo door in Nov-21. It was leased to AmeriJet International (USA) in Jan-22. In Dec-23, now 29 years old, the aircraft was withdrawn from use and stored at Marana, AZ, USA. Updated 31-May-24.
A CJ1 with winglets? Yep! www.tamarackaero.com have developed active winglets for the CJ series and in June 2013 set a record for the longest flight in a CJ1 flying non-stop from Idaho to White Plains, NY in 6h 16mins - a distance of 1,853nm. Normal range of a CJ1 is around 1400nm. Impressive!

As our Ethiopian Boeing 737-800 pushed back at Addis, the winglet passed by the fin of a company Boeing 757 parked on the ramp.
The 73 was 'ET-APM' and the 75 was 'ET-AMU'.
