It's almost the weekend HWW!

Northgate House, Bargate on Northgate in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

This lovely built house was built in the late 1700’s with that top, windowless storey being added in the early 19C. It was originally the fine townhouse of some wealthy person but is now offices.

Happy WW! 😄

This is one of the pop-out areas on the new apartment building near my hospital. I've used this building many times for WW! This is finished now, well almost, and I thought this one penthouse apartment porch wazs so cute! Happy Window Wednesdays!

The walkway in Morrisons, a local supermarket has this lovely fan shaped ceiling window above the walkway from the underground car park up to the store itself. Used it a thousand times but never thought till now of getting a shot of it!

.. found in Rotterdam .. happy Tuesday my friends :)

It's been a beautiful day today here and I haven't made it out of the front door, let alone out into some lovely sunshine.

Hope it stays nice so that I can get out tomorrow afternoon.

One of the church windows from the outside, like the other one I took I was surprised to see the colours this side of them.

Thank you for your favourites. :O)

Happy Window Wednesdays ... my front porch!

This walkway, full of windows is an internal short-cut from near the main entrance to several departments in the hospital here in Newark. I was there today to get further x-rays on my fractured arm and wrist and then to see the consultant surgeon on my case.

- I liked the colour combination the gardener had used here

Happy Window Wednesday!

.

Yet, we won't mention it.

It's not politically correct.

We walk around it, edging past as if it's not a problem.

We talk about anything but…

Last Sunday (21-4-24) I went with a photo group from Photowalk Overijssel to Van der Capellen SG the Lassus Campus.

This Campus has only recently opened, someone who is also in the photo group is a teacher there and has made this possible

This was something completely different than flowers

but oh so much fun to do and I certainly enjoyed myself, luckily I didn't get any punishment after school

Read an article on this old '60s sci-fi classic(?) the other day which brought back some old cheesy movie memories. This was taken in a very dark, decaying abandoned farm house. Unlike the explorers in the movie, hopefully I didn't bring anything back home with me....we're good so far....

for Window Wednesdays

After over a year of restrictions, lockdowns and scary times, we finally had lunch at the pub. We sat down in bright sunshine in the garden. A few mouthfuls into our main course - the soft plop of spots of rain.

The staff quickly moved us to a table under a small 'marquee' from where we watched the rain steadily fall harder and harder. But the food was fine and nothing could really dampen our spirits.

My view is of the rear entrance to the pub from where we were sitting.

🍷Thank you for visiting my photostream.🍷

Film...day three

Window Wednesday, film edition...

There are 4 windows in my home that absolutely have my heart. This is one of them. This is the window in my kitchen...or rather the shadow of my kitchen window on my cabinet :) HWW

Happy Window-Wednesday!

Taken in London for Window Wednesday. I was torn here whether to go black and white or colour (in comments) I like the warm glow of the lights in the shop but think mono works better as a street shot. HWW
