Paseo Tablado de Isabela, Puerto Rico ( Wooden Boardwalk of Isabela, Puerto Rico )
"Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments below".
Captured in my local beech wood.
Sometimes things turn out differently than you think.
On this evening I made multiple exposures from 3 single images of the tree trunks. Before putting my images on flickr, I tend to ask my better half for his opinion. He clearly liked this single image best.

Landgoed Herinckhave
This was shot at the same place as the previous shot. These can take up to an hour to do depending on the level of detail you want exposed.
I don't usually watch election speeches but I wathced that one. It is only my opinion but I think you will all be in better hands.
Happy Slider Sunday
I spent an enjoyable evening in Leeds with a great group of people from a facebook photography group I'm a member of. We stayed around the area next to the canal side behind Bridgwater Place and took some photos. Here are some of mine.
I wish I'd known you could go up to the Skylounge in the Hilton building next to us; one of the things I really want to do is take a shot of Leeds (or any city) from a high vantage point, especially after dark!
Its White Out..
The first snowfall in January was a pleasant surprise as the weather was quite warm and the snow fell for the better part of the morning letting up in the afternoon. we made our way to Heart lake,
This photo along the trail the snow had stopped falling, we were sheltered from the wind by the large steep terrain to our left and for a brief time everything was quiet and still; the path before us appeared as magical as a winter movie scene.

Sunset Lake 2.....
this shot of an evening sunset at Heart Lake conservation area in August of 2018, was one of those perfect sunsets, the ones where the cloud coverage is just perfect, the remaining sunlight is not too yellow or bright. the trees and surrounding vegetation sparkle in the waning suns glow. The water is calm and glistens and twinkles in the dimming light of dusk.

Beneath The Trees Of Autumn..
Two weeks ago was the perfect time to get out and take fall colour shots, Karen and I Started our hike at the south end of the park, the trees are stately and tall with a winding foot path that leads you deep into the expanse of the woods and nature trail hidden within its leafy canopy.

Illumination..
Out for an early morning hike today to get more fall photos... It was the perfect time to get out and take fall shots, Karen and I made our way up the ridgeline to the area of the west side of the park, this area is mostly tall pines and other fir trees. the sun was shining through the forest illuminating the forest floor.

Branching Out..
The first snowfall in January was a pleasant surprise as the weather was quite warm and the snow fell for the better part of the morning letting up in the afternoon. we made our way to Heart lake,
This photo of a big gnarly old tree looks like some strange monster hunched over and reaching out to the frozen lake, trying to trap those innocents who would unwittingly pass by.... or so i imagined in my futile but slightly twisted mind.
