Monday evening into early hours of Tuesday we had snow; 3 to 4 inches, a little more snow early hours of Friday. Some snow visible but in places not much left.
Let it snow, let t snow, let it snow! Last week I said spring had arrived, this week a return to winter. Unsurprisingly I was the only car in the car park.

I hadn't walked to the Decoy Pond since storm Babbet in October. The bridge has been replaced, not sure if it's permanent; hope not it's bright coloured metal and just doesn't fit in. Paths in that area of the park are very muddy in places; wish I'd had wellies on.

Week 8, the last full week of August and the last full week of summer. What a summer we've had; if you can call it summer. Climate change seems to be locking weather patterns in for week after week. Some countries, not too far away, having to deal with very high temperatures and drought, here relatively cool and very, very wet.
December 1st and the first day of meteorological winter. Snow and frost appropriate then! Overcast and misty, light very flat; not good foe photography.
A bright and sunny November morning. Path along the west side of Great Pond still closed following storm damage.
Water levels are beginning to fall and the water appears less muddy. For the first time since late February Deep Lane is no longer partially flooded.
