I wish I had more time to be creative and make postcards with the tape you can see on the picture. I thought about doing a "Make 100" Kickstarter with my tape cards but I'm not sure if this would be successful.
Sometimes I feel like my office job drains all of the creativity out of me.
Computer still broken, so phone photos continue...
I was hoping to open up Beach season with the dogs, but when we arrived we saw tire tracks on the sand, and dozens of dead fish washed up. apparently someone has been dumping something into the lake. Gross and sad. So we didn't let the dogs go in the water.
I was hoping to see how Rudy would do with water, but we'll have to try another time, at a cleaner lake... but considering how ball crazy he is, I'm sure he'd swim to the other side of the lake if he had to get a ball.
I found this spot by San Rafael Bay back in week 13 of this project and decided to try again this weekend. I was down there before sunrise to see if I could improve on my last attempt. This time the sun rose in a different part of the horizon, giving a much cooler effect, but when it did appear it illuminated the fishing pier nicely. I also tried not to overdo it on the processing so this one feels more natural.

This is my new favorite shirt. And yes, I see that I messed up on the select color over on the left side. I'm just too lazy to fix it. :)

for #laurazalenga17weeks
.
I created a little dream-city and now i wish it was real so i could move there to walk on the little wooden bridges and watch all the flickering light between the roots.
.
Because this project is about experimenting I tried something I never did before and build an image completely containing of stock-images and many hours spend in my favorite wonderland Adobe Photoshop 💘
.
Totally inspired by my childhood, and Peterson & Findus - no idea who of you still knows them 🙈
.
The before/after of this, and the next topic for the 17weeks-project is up in my facebook-group: (Self)portraits with Laura Zalenga
This is a book I bought but haven't got around to reading it yet. I read reviews on this book and many people claim this solves the very interesting mystery of The Zodiac Killer so the sooner I read it the better.
I don't like shooting in harsh sunlight which is why I shot this while the sun was still very strong. I want to learn to control the types of lighting I'm least comfortable with.

Theme Of The Week - Where I live
There's nothing interesting 5 minutes (in any direction) from where I live...
XI Week 05 30/1-6/2/20
More catch up. It's been a slow month... I've missed the Australian Open this year, then St Kilda Festival and a whole lot of events during the month or so. Anyway, here's one from the car... peace out.
Jonah went with me to take some family photos and I hoped to catch a few good ones of him, but I missed all the best moments by seconds. In the end, I just liked this photo because it looks like something is going on. What? Only Jonah and his buddy know.

I am always looking at the sky and saying..."Look at the clouds!"
My husband doesn't get it.

I fractured my right index finger on Thursday... so this is as good as it is going to get.
This is Bragi J. Ingibergsson, 45 and a pastor at Víðistaðakirkja in Hafnarfjörður.
I had to shoot an environmental portrait for a school assignment so I decided to "kill two birds with one stone" and use that shot for my 7th week as well and Bragi was more than willing to model for me. He is a very nice guy, well probably has to be since he is a pastor but we probably spent more time talking about photography during this shoot than taking photos :)
Lit with a single bowens monolight with a 100x100cm softbox, opened the curtains on windows on either side of the altar to get some light in there and took this hand held, very minimal processing, pretty much just standard raw conversion stuff.
Seeking constructive criticism as to whether this fits Fibonacci at all! I really don’t have the mathematical eye for this concept. Used a bloom floating in a bowl, and then inverted it to give it more of an abstract feel.
I am happy to try another tack, but need some guidance.
