This is a book I bought but haven't got around to reading it yet. I read reviews on this book and many people claim this solves the very interesting mystery of The Zodiac Killer so the sooner I read it the better.

I don't like shooting in harsh sunlight which is why I shot this while the sun was still very strong. I want to learn to control the types of lighting I'm least comfortable with.

Theme Of The Week - Where I live

There's nothing interesting 5 minutes (in any direction) from where I live...

Ce bouquet pour vous souhaiter un bon week-end !

Horsford wood, week 1 of 52, how will this change over the year?

XI Week 05 30/1-6/2/20

More catch up. It's been a slow month... I've missed the Australian Open this year, then St Kilda Festival and a whole lot of events during the month or so. Anyway, here's one from the car... peace out.

This is Bragi J. Ingibergsson, 45 and a pastor at Víðistaðakirkja in Hafnarfjörður.

I had to shoot an environmental portrait for a school assignment so I decided to "kill two birds with one stone" and use that shot for my 7th week as well and Bragi was more than willing to model for me. He is a very nice guy, well probably has to be since he is a pastor but we probably spent more time talking about photography during this shoot than taking photos :)

Lit with a single bowens monolight with a 100x100cm softbox, opened the curtains on windows on either side of the altar to get some light in there and took this hand held, very minimal processing, pretty much just standard raw conversion stuff.

'WHITBY FOLK WEEK' - AUGUST 2019

Seeking constructive criticism as to whether this fits Fibonacci at all! I really don’t have the mathematical eye for this concept. Used a bloom floating in a bowl, and then inverted it to give it more of an abstract feel.

I am happy to try another tack, but need some guidance.

Theme of The Week -- Lay Flat Photography

Does not quite fit the theme but I like it. I'll just say this is not the complete herd of bison. :)

I will be away for a few days so I'm posting 3 photos today.

These 3 cityscapes are taken from King's Park in Perth. We are so privileged to have this enormous park overlooking our city.

Kings Park is a 400.6-hectare park overlooking Perth Water and the central business district of Perth, Western Australia. The park is a mixture of grassed parkland, botanical gardens and natural bushland on Mount Eliza with two-thirds of the grounds conserved as native bushland. Offering panoramic views of the Swan River and Darling Range, it is home to over 324 native plant varieties, 215 known indigenous fungi species and 80 bird species.

Week 36 (v 9.0) - no major changes

Baby pools, big pools, splash pads or spray grounds, this girl loves them all! She was built for the summer and playing in the water is her favorite thing.

i failed at 52 weeks. after my computer crashed i kinda just have been sick of taking and organizing pics. i dont have photoshop anymore so i can't edit them. i've been busy so i can't take them.

bla bla bla.

i might start this back up when i have time. but i'm just not really at a good place to continue right now.

now. off to study.

week nineteen of 52 (November 27- December 3, 2017)

I'm home... can i go back now?

I love going to Ireland so much!

I will start uploading the rest of my photos over the next few days!

We had a nice dinner with bread and salad. I love the one on the left with bacon around it an cheese. Hmmm...

please read the end of this description!

It's finals week. I really feel like schools shouldn't do this to people. I feel like I may have heart problems when it's over.

Good news is it's SO close to Christmas break. Which to me means an entire MONTH without class! I can't wait! :)

*Also, I have a question for you guys. If I did a print giveaway, would anyone enter? I wouldn't want to do one and only have 3 people enter... So, let me know if you're interested. If enough people are, I'll do one. :)

Construction, Week 38

Here's that promised shot of the store construction as seen earlier this afternoon, from an angle seen many other afternoons, most recently three weeks ago. Again, the only visible progress appears to be over at the pharmacy drive-thru frame-up. Maybe it's a good thing I'm taking a couple weeks off from new pictures in this regard...

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)

Theme of The Week - Family Heirloom

My Dad's Grandfather was a farmer. He made little cabins in the winter when there was nothing else to do. We have 3 of the cabins, a tobacco barn, and a wheat field.

Great-Grandpa said one of his cabins was in the Missouri History Museum... that may or may not be true.
