The daily bird shows are picking up once again. I just love it when the little migratory birds start visiting. This is the same little warbler that was on the edge of the bog a couple of days ago. He looks so different when he is in the water than when he is about to get in. How do I know it's the same one? That's simple, because I took the images back to back as I was watching him :)
Have a wonderful weekend and happy snapping.

Just a note on bathing Creeper's I am sure they do it all the time but I have to wait till this time of year when there are a few day's that they will show up, mostly they like to just be in some wet foliage on the edges and it's like a couple of seconds and gone, but this one actually went out in the water for long enough to get some pictures, like most small birds they are constantly moving so getting one in focus was still a challenge.
A secluded waterfall just outside of Lake City, Colorado—tucked away in a dramatic canyon and surrounded by evergreens. The sound of the water plunging into that vibrant pool is one of those moments you want to bottle up and keep forever.
This spot captures the wild, untouched beauty of the San Juans. If you ever find yourself near Lake City, it’s worth the hike to experience this view in person.
I posted something a little different yesterday and I’m posting something a little different again today. This is a shot from a recent visit to The Enchanted Forest which is an annual event at Pitlochry in Scotland. Every year a forestry area near the town is converted into a spectacular show with the pathways running through the trees and around a little loch decorating with lighting, music and story telling. This shot is catching part of a light and water display on the loch. The water dances in time with the music and lights within and surrounding the water change in time. Shooting these lights is very similar to shooting fireworks but you have less of a margin for long exposure. At least there is a lot more illumination of the surrounding area to make getting the light levels easier.
Well worth a visit if you get the chance.
Seen on a Cold and Frosty Morning. Brigg Garden Centre is the flagship centre of the British Garden Centre Group and is one of the largest garden centres in the UK. It joined the family-owned group in 2000 and since then has seen massive developments and constant improvements to provide you with a local first-class garden centre.

One of the main attractions of Gardens by the Bay ecological park are the two giant climate controlled conservatories, known as the Cloud Forest with its 35 meter waterfall, as well as the Flower Dome. Within these huge green houses one can find facinating plant species from all over the world, from venus fly traps to an almost unlimited variety of orchids. This beautiful park reaffirms Singapore's reputation as the Garden City.

Capturing this waterfall was nothing but challenging. Between the rain and the mist created by the heavy water flow. To make matters worse I was even testing a new set of filters.

Part of the 52 Weeks of 2016
Week No: 26
Theme: Rule of Odds

So I spent the week counting things and working whether they were an odd numbered group and seeing if that made them interesting. I had stuck to threes a lot, but I found these water jets in Somerset House (next to the Thames in London) in rows of 5 and quite liked the way they looked as an odd numbered group.
Thankfully I had a long enough lens so that I didn't get wet.
HCS too.
