This impressive waterfall is 37m tall! It was on my list to shoot in frozen condition, unfortunately we were a bit late at the party. Ice cubes around the fall were visible but not what I wished for… maybe next time! In the meantime it has been a really good scouting exercice! #Waterfall #FlowingWater #WaterFeature #Rock #Stream #Nature #Motion #Outdoors #visit_switzerland #frozen_landscape #switzerland #switzerland_landscape #switzerland_bestpix #raw_season
This was first waterfall that we came across which is the Sgwd Clun-Gwyn. its the closest to the car park. The roaring sound of the falls resonates in the valley.

At the far end of the sunken garden section of Olbrich Botanical Garden in Madison, Wi. A little long exposure shot sans tripod - just held the camera on the edging and pressed it down throughout the exposure.
Set in Place du Martroi at the side of the square, in the centre is the Large statue of Joan of Arc. Set around the square are many fine eating places. We avoided thses on the grounds of expence and character.

The Kiridara Luang Prabang resort was a very beautiful and luxurious Asian owned place. Very reasonably priced and great value for money compared to the big chain or big-name hotels and resorts there such as the Sofitel, Rosewood and Pullman.

A location that I wanted to visit for a while. Was not too sure what to expect but I had a good time with the mist and the bridge trying to be creative.

While in Fort Worth Texas last weekend I managed to get a few shots of an interesting water feature, right in the middle of the downtown area near the convention center.
This is a huge urban park full of neat water features and landscapes.
Cedar Waxwings inhabit deciduous, coniferous, and mixed woodlands, particularly areas along streams. You may also find them in old fields, grasslands, sagebrush, and even along desert washes. With the spread of ornamental berry trees in landscaping, Cedar Waxwings are increasingly common in towns and suburbs. In winter, Cedar Waxwings are most abundant around fruiting plants in open woodlands, parks, gardens, forest edges, and second-growth forests.
A Colorado icon, 2 minute exposure, composite with a 30 second sky exposure. Jon www.flickr.com/photos/jonblakephotography/ was the lighting engineer for this shoot.
This waterfall at the Estanque de los Patos within Parque Genovés is a wonderful and refreshing place to visit in Cádiz. The picturesque park is well known for its large array of plants, palm trees and colorful flowers. It is a nice place to stretch your legs and have a small walk while exploring Cádiz.

The Köbogen in Düsseldorf. (1)
This area has become very popular in Summer-- there are shops --and --'Apple' on the other side of the buildings--and some really good restaurants and street cafés. My shot is from the Hofgarten--a beautiful city park.
A little angled reflection in front of the Hungarian Parliament Building, which is still the largest building in Hungary. The design of the building was decided via an international competition, and construction occurred between 1885-1904. It is not very old but is incredibly beautiful. The main facade faces the River Danube. This is the other (city) side. Interestingly and sadly, the architect Imre Steindl went blind before the building was completed.
The garden water feature taken into the sunlight to emphasis the water running out of the statue's outstretched arms.
