Found this guy in a thrift store on Sanibel Island, Florida with the bird and all the junk he's surrounded by.
I love when I catch my darling Snugs in a bird watching stance as I did here. Her focus is total and she is not even aware of me taking her picture. I normally find it hard to get a good picture of her, especially if she is aware as she comes toward me and gets too close.
Happy Caturday from Snugs and I 💕☘️

There were 7 adult Bald Eagles fighting for a duck kill. The others moved away as this one swooped in.
I wonder how many little kids in Paris have nightmares at seeing these gargoyles. I know they certainly give me pause...It's as if they are watching everyone below...So you better be good.

One of a coalition of five male cheetahs (Acinonyx jubatus), sometimes called the 5 Musketeers or the Fast Five, that have been together since the Fall of 2016. This is a historic grouping because of its large number and consists of two brothers and three non related males. Together they are able to hold larger territory and bring down larger prey. Just a simple candid street style Snapograph captured at London UK of a lady taking a snap with her cell phone while being kinda watched by a couple of figures on a shop poster.

Australian Hobby (Falco longipennis)
Coming back from the shops today I spotted one Hobby in the tree over the laneway near the shops. I bolted home and grabbed the camera. When I got back the pair were in the tree. A number of shots later I headed home. Spotting our friend Bill and his son in their garden I stopped to say hello. This one then obliged by coming over to sit it Bill's Silver Birch Tree.

Every year our local Morro Coast Audubon puts on a show of the "Birds of San Luis Obispo county". I am one of the photographers that participates and submits my images. I am starting to go though my files from earlier this year I am finding some shots I never posted before.
She stood for a long moment watching the water, as if waiting for something to emerge from the silence beneath the arches.
The concrete above her repeated itself again and again, a quiet tunnel of light and shadow, while the river moved slowly past. For a moment the world felt ordered—lines, reflections, and a solitary figure standing at the center of it all.
Some places ask nothing of us except that we pause long enough to notice them.
