Did you ever have the feeling that someone was watching you? Maybe several? Well, they didn’t have Netflix back then. Gdansk, Poland...right before a storm...
I've been watching you
For some time
Can't stop staring
At those oceans eyes
Burning cities
And napalm skies
Fifteen flares inside those ocean eyes
Your ocean eyes
Discovered this little cutie relaxing under our bird feeder. It stayed long enough for me to change my lens and get a few snaps, while yawning, stretching, and rolling. What a treat. Shot thru two dirty glass doors. : )

Humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae)
Each year thousands of these gentle giants rest, play and nurture their young in the sheltered waters of Hervey Bay. A real treat to watch them.

my best one's?
Cheetah stalking what he hoped would be his supper. At this stage quietly moving through the grass, periodically sitting to wait until he had a clearer run at his prey. This animal has great patience as we watched this go on for almost an hour and he still had not had an opportunity to make a final advance.

The stunning Vista Loft. Grand, double height living room ceiling, with a huge feature staircase and dramatic floor to ceiling windows. It provides a high quality open plan base home to work with your favourite interior design style.
Complementing the home are the Double Storey shelves, which come pre-decorated for anyone who dreads decorating shelves (we've all been there) with beautiful ultra modern statues and books.
I've also used the Compact kitchen collection which is available in white or dark texturing. You will not be disappointed with any of these sets.

Interior from Garmo stave church at Maihaugen in Lillehammer, Norway. The baptismal font is made from soapstone and dates to the 12th century.
This stave church originally dates to the middle of the 12th century - later expanded in the 18th century. In the 19th century the church was replaced with a newly built on in Garmo and this one was dismantled and sold at auction(!) in 1880. It was bought by Trond Eklestuen, who spent much time buying traditional Norwegian objects (and buildings) and giving them away to museums for preservation. The church ended up at Maihaugen (the largest open-air museum in northern Europe, founded in 1904), a place dedicated to the preservation of Norwegian history and architecture. The church was rebuilt there in 1921.
It’s been a while since I shared a photo from my Sabi Sands safari, so thought why not post one of its most magnificent residents — the leopard.
This young cub was perched high in a tree, curiously watching us as we watched him. I can only imagine what he thought of the rapid-fire click of all those camera shutters! The more sensible among us (if I can ever be called that 😉) had our cameras set to silent mode.
It was fascinating watching his mother teach him the essentials of leopard life — how to wrestle, eat, and nap — all safely from the branches above, far from hyenas, photographers, and other distractions. I have such wonderful memories of these extraordinary animals. Nature at her finest.
Today's fun fact: That lovely smell of freshly cut grass? It's actually the grass releasing distress signals! The scent comes from green leaf volatiles — compounds plants emit when damaged, to warn nearby plants, deter grazers, & attract helpful insects.
So maybe I’m not lazy after all — I’m just being considerate by not mowing too often 😉
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Thanks for taking a look, I really appreciate your comments and support.
Every get that feeling....someone is watching you??
