I was out in the yard with Zoe Bear when she spotted some action down the street that she would have loved to check out, but she decided to be obedient and stay put.
Here is Zoe Bear's set.
I hope to catch up with you all later. Thank you for dropping by.

This watch tower is sitting next to a power substation. I don’t know it’s purpose. It certainly wouldn’t be to look for fires in the middle of farm land and a couple of miles from the river.

Moose (Algonquin for “eater of twigs”) forage across a 5+ mile (13km) territory. Washington State's moose belong to a subspecies called "Shiras” - which are smaller than their more northern-dwelling relatives & predominantly live on the eastern side of the State.

Australian Hobby (Falco longipennis)
Coming back from the shops today I spotted one Hobby in the tree over the laneway near the shops. I bolted home and grabbed the camera. When I got back the pair were in the tree. A number of shots later I headed home. Spotting our friend Bill and his son in their garden I stopped to say hello. This one then obliged by coming over to sit it Bill's Silver Birch Tree.
