My boy Bandit watching for the Fox to come out from the woods in our backyard. I was out with the flash looking for bats in hopes that I could get one flying. The fox came out, but no bats.

Pere Marquette 1225 is a 2-8-4 (Berkshire) steam locomotive built for Pere Marquette Railway (PM) by Lima Locomotive Works in Lima, Ohio. 1225 is one of two surviving Pere Marquette 2-8-4 locomotives, the other being 1223 which is on display at the Tri-Cities Historical Society near ex-GTW coaling tower, in Grand Haven, MI.

If in Shocktober the mirror clouds and cracks and she comes into view, if her eyes gleam with an unearthly glow and she begins to leak from the frame, it means only one thing.

She thirsts.

Red golden sunset on the island of Rügen.

A usual place to spot a heron on one of the ponds on Bookham Common , there used to be loads of heron about . However , I am not so sure if the heronry is still there , it used to be be so noisy when the youngsters were being brought up . Anyway , back to this one , if it hasn't already eaten the all the residents of the pond he is still hopeful of any passing lunch !!

A wind blown couple are seen seated in a prime spot on top of Dingli Cliffs. Their patience will be tested by the biting cold onshore breeze but their reward was this ever changing sunset.

We used a bus pass for the week in Malta and had to catch three buses to get to this point where we could take our sunset hike. These cliffs mark the high point of Malta and offer a sheer drop into the Mediterranean of 830 feet.
