This is a bird watcher friend of mine we met over the marshes where this image was taken as the sun rose over the horizon
We watched these kits play for an hour this past Friday and we were the only ones there at that time! It was a cloudy day with showers off and on but that didn't stop these little ones from having fun! this photo was taken at Bombay hook national wildlife refuge in Delaware, USA!

Rather like this photo funny how you can capture a nice image doing a selfie.
Well last week I spent from Wednesday through to Monday in girl mode almost all the time apart from a few hours at either end of the day.
Its now Wednesday evening and I have been back to work two days and I am hating everything about wearing guys clothes and being something I have come to realise I don't really like being.
Oh well this leopard can't or won't change its spots.
...not the birdie
Poppy, my dog, had a better idea than to look at the camera as I'd asked her, instead watching the pretty buttercup catching the sunlight. As is often the case (with her being half collie), her idea was superior to mine, and resulted in a better composition than I'd planned originally, confirming to me, yet again, that the IQ is most definitely on the wrong end of the lead! :D

The younger one chose to watch the snow from the inside while the older one played outside...at least for a little bit... before he joined him outside. ;o)
Out in the Peak District with me thinking i was been quiet trying to find a nice spot to photograph some deer yet all the time I was being watched. He stayed still for a moment so I could grab this shot of the stag through the trees of some woodland.

i enjoy watching the birds eating from our feeders. i have seen more birds this year that i haven't seen before. we enjoy the feeders during breakfast & dinner mostly. time to put the hummingbird feeder back up.
