Selfie time? :) While taking a shower, and having in mind that i had to do the washing. I was thinking, why not place the Camera inside the washing machine, and try to make a selfie? After that i have done the laundry without the camera inside. :)
Little testing and stuff, and it came with this. :)
If you got time, Take a look on my FB page, :)
One reason I like blackness in photography is because it often changes mood of the picture. In darkness things become more ambiguous and not so easily defined. When we don't see everything, our mind fulfills hidden details and bends the interpretation. If you ever walked alone in forest at night you know it's a short cut to our subconscious. Everyday things, which are boringly ordinary, change to something else.
Aura likes to play with a washing machine. She puts her cat into machine, shuts the hatch and opens it again. After that she says 'the cat is now clean' and does it again. Like I said, everyday stuff that becomes sublime in blackness.

This has to be some sort of record, at a height of about 6,300 ft above sea level, a washing machine dumped in Snowdonia National Park on the B4391 at Llangynog, Wales.
A 'laundromat' is a self-service coin laundry where clothes are washed and dried without much personalized professional help. They are known in Great Britain as launderettes or laundrettes, and in the United States as laundromats. Laundromats are an essential business in urban communities.
The term "laundromat" is the trademark of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation, later White Consolidated Industries, and was created by its employee, George Edward Pendray (1901-1987), American public relations counselor, author, foundation executive, and founder of the American Interplanetary Society.
Seen and photographed at "Mr and Mrs Bubbles Coin Laundry", a laundromat on B Street in downtown San Mateo, California.

The owner of this place is currently out of town, visiting family in India. Whoever is keeping an eye on things is doing a lousy job with the change machines. Fortunately, someone had a vitamin sized bottle filled with quarters, and I was able to swap $3 worth for three singles in my wallet. While they aren't apparently concerned with keeping customers happy, the person keeping an eye on things is making sure the neon lights remain on, thusly running up the electric bill even higher for the owner.
While waiting for the washing machine to my left to finish, I grabbed this shot with my phone. Who says laundry day can't be a colorful experience?

That moment when your clothes decide that you are the dirty one...
How this happened? see below in the comments...
Poor Keiko😞 I put all of his toys in the washing machine, and he is just sitting next to the machine crying😭
One minute I was happily loading in my socks, then a strange sensation of being kicked, then darkness.
That's when it started getting wet.
...and now I fear the worst... I'd set it to heavy soil. Where's Mrs. Flibble anyway? Surely she...
Oh.
I understand now.
*sobs*
I know you'd love to:
Forgot how challenging it was to do this shot when I originally did it last year. Getting the exposure, flash and right angle in such a small space when you've got the camera on a timer is a nightmare but I'm pleased with the result.
From early in the 20th century. Here's one in action: youtu.be/PDe9MhzyyK4 . And here's a guy who collects 'em: youtu.be/l3Ih4zbwkPs .
Why? Well, I think it would be very interesting to be here. Talking with the people ... want to shoot them ... does it sounds weird?
