It's been a long time since my last post.
Partly because of laziness, partly because I had to move and consequently deal with Internet and computer issues, I didn't feel like adding any photos.
Finally I managed to revise some old (though not that old) shots and stumbled upon this one. Just turning upside down the original view gave the feeling someone was watching me. I hope the sepia treatment adds to the creepiness, and if you a never seen the movie 'Tetsuo' you should have a look at it but then don't blame me if every now and then you will peep in suspicion to your wash machine or any electrical appliances in your house lol

Nope, as it turns out, I enjoy color too much to stay in b&w. :-)
I've been neglectful of my contacts for the last few days, and I really hope to catch up with all of your amazing work soon. Today, even. ::fingers crossed::
Whirlpool became a big deal in the washing machine business. But Whirlwind? Not so much. The Google hits that were on topic for this one were from other Ellis Island tourists. (Caveat: This was an industrial-grade tool, not a consumer item.)
This is a wheelbarrow I filled with all my dreams & my favorite clothes & now all I need is someone to help me push it.

As I'm not feeling 100% I decided to stay in. I missed something going on down at the beach this afternoon too, so wasn't doing very well. Trying to find something at home always causes me a bit of a problem, but this is it for today. Another abstract photo, a bit soon after the last one but never mind.
As an extra, I end up having to vacuum the inside of the machine to remove his fur!!

The Grotto Geyser is in the Upper Geyser Basin. It is located between Riverside and Grand Geysers. This is one I had never seen before, so I was thrilled I got to see it.
I wanted call it the "Washing Machine" because it has all these chambers that water surges through. If you should get there, try to see it. It erupts for around 2 hours. Jet geyser is a predictor for Grotto.
Didn't post yesterday on my own theme!! So here's my washing machine for yesterday...and a little unease for today's theme!

This is getting worse and worse. Rain and more rain and running out of ideas for an inside photo.
Grabbed the first thing that I could out of the Happy Hippy Bag and Perry was happy to have a bop on top of the washing machine to help me out.
What a hero!!

A very old, very British game show referenced there. Bruce and his dolly dealers. Believe me, if you don't know, you don't want to know.
This image is a thank you to David, who wrote me a sweet testimonial. David is ... hmm, how can I put it? ... as mad as a box of frogs, with a penchant for creating mischief, mayhem and havoc here on flickr ... and, one suspects, in the wider world. Thank you, David, for being a great and engaged flickr friend. Check out his stream - he has a brilliant creative streak. Just don't mention dungeons...
This is a fly-by. Sorry, Goose, it's time to buzz the tower.

My second attempt at a self portrait.
The fuzz in the right hand bottom corner is the table the camera was sitting on.

Superuse Studios is a Rotterdam based architecture office of Cesare Peeren, Willem Coenen, Bart Lentze and Mel Feldmuller. They utilize the contextual potential for design. A design is not considered as the beginning of a linear process but as a phase in a continuous cycle of creation and recreation, use and reuse.
Superuse Studios re-appropriates unwanted materials into architectural structures and is known for their innovative projects focusing on sustainable design within the fields of architecture, urban design and research. Three projects that highlight their strategies and design approach are ‘design shoe store’, ‘the miele space station’ and their ‘wikado’ urban furniture.
The Miele Space Station was one of Superuse Studios early trials in reuse architecture in 2003, its final destination is based at the faculty of architecture in Delft where it served as an espresso bar. Its futuristic appearance of a space station is composed of modules where it can be configured to different programs- even suited for living accommodation.

It’s hard to imagine that Amsterdam’s streets were almost completely dark at night until well into the 17th century, when the first streetlights appeared. Because today, there’s light in surroundings no matter where we are, from desk lamps to the many lampposts that line our streets.
