Beatty Brothers Ltd. was established in Fergus, Ontario in 1874 by brothers George and Matthew Beatty.

I remember using one of these machines when I was about 15 years old and once in a while I would make the ringers "pop"...just because, lol!

I went on a one day road trip with a few ladies yesterday. First time in 19 months and it was SO much fun.

... purgatory is waiting for you 😊

- You should clean fresh tomatoes thoroughly before eating them. The Food Standards Agency comments that "it's a good idea to wash fruit and vegetables before you eat them to ensure that they are clean, and to help remove germs that might be on the outside."

Early morning photoshoot captured this candid shot of a jogger agains the backdrop of one of the German parliament buidings nicknamed - for obvious reasons - as the "washing machine"

Latch mechanism on a vintage copper drum washing machine. No easy task making this thing work but I suppose compared to using a washing board or beating your clothes on a rock it is easy. All in your point of view!

Museum of Clean, Pocatello, Idaho. By the way if you haven't visited the Museum of Clean it's well worth stopping if you find yourself near Pocatello.

Just for fun. Super wide angle shot inside a washing machine. In camera stiching. Retouching in post.

This is locally called earthquake art. Sarcastic style art is inserted around the earthquake ruins in Christchurch. On the washing machine it says "There's nothing to be seen here"

The Cleaner...

Today was a day to stay inside and do odd jobs and other chores around the house. laundry was one of them . as i was loading the laundry i noticed how bright and shiny the inside of the washer was. It was then that i got distracted, pulled all the laundry out of the washing machine and started snapping off a few photos. .. i eventually did get the laundry finished after my squirrel moment.

Did I mention I hate housework? Thanks to Rum Bucolic Ape for identifying it as a sock demon.

Sneakily posting this as today's We're Here: Photography of Unease but also for yesterday's Washing Machines! Washing Machines! Washing Machines! which I couldn't play.

Some tea stains. So treated them and laundered. Stains all gone. But now there are different ones. Re treat and re wash. I wonder if there will be an improvement!
