On the evening of June 5th, 2009, a horde of the living dead congregated at Gem City Records before laying a swath of destruction across the Oregon District on 5th Street.

These photos were recovered from a memory card discovered in a badly-mangled digital camera by National Guard troops.

The location and condition of the photographer are unknown.

There are tons of buttons, glimmer mist, and some really fun techniques to make this book special. I used Cosmo Cricket's Ever After paper line, lots of Quickutz flowers, and some Prima fibers and flowers to decorate the book. Each page contains quotes and poems all about children and gardens--perfect for a Mother's Day gift for mom or grandma (or even your daughter if she has lots of little ones).

Walked the dogs in the park and they are resting in the car while I shoot a couple of scenes of our walk in the park. Dogs and cameras can be too much to handle.

Tennis courts on Braddock

A walk in Central Park on 04.19.14 from The Pond up to the Conservatory Garden and everywhere was a riot of pink and white. The park looked great in spring colors! I walked back to The Reservoir at sunset time and the sky was on fire! It was so amazing to see the sky change colors and its reflection on the waters of the reservoir, I didn't want to leave. I considered myself lucky to have seen Mother Nature so generous with her beauty that day.

This the first part of a new series of photos I call "Walk in the park". The images are candid photos of people of all walks of life. Most will be taken in and around downtown San Diego and parks like Balboa.

We found a lovely little path that took us out by the old mill and behind the castle, along the old canal and through some woods. It was a wonderful walk.

...for a camel that walks like no tomorrow, this little walk in the Thar carrying people, must HAVE seemed like a "walk in the park".

Love the colors of the cart and the elements in this.

Pushkar Mela 2009

For this theme, we went to the near island woods and I simply had my friend walk down a hill. His red shoes and sweater had a nice touch to the photo because the photo now has more color than just green and brown. For the lightroom edits, I slightly decreased vibrance and saturation because the sweater and shoes were too red.

Nitrous Bonnet Mushroom I think.

Most of the life to be found in the woods in the summer is now in full retreat in preparation for the coming Winter, but I was still able to find some interesting Mushrooms to get a photo or two of.
